This is still going on 48 hours later and yes I have seen SNL and we have a short clip of that below. As terrific as it is, it can’t really compare with what you are about to see and then hear from “another Alabama mom, at my kitchen table” who calls Katie Britt’s SOTU rebuttal “disingenuous at best and at worst kind of psychotic.” Let’s say the two clips are the best of both worlds, one is entertainment and the other is serious as a heart attack. But first let’s start with Dr. Jack Brown’s body language analysis, with photographs.

When I worked in the studios I saw any number of rushes and outtakes, and occasionally I would see a screentest, although rarely. But I never saw anything like this.

Now, here’s the next part of this extravaganza. I don’t know this gal’s name, but damn, let’s get her on the Democratic ticket. She has the issues wired — and she has one hell of a suggestion for Katie Britt.

Isn’t that memorable? And this is out of the ballpark.

I think the GOP better get Johansson to do its rebuttal next year. Again, and always friends, I am going to be wondering if Mitch McConnell set this up. This is out of control now. This has a life of its own.

This last tweet I’m posting not because it fits in with this subject per se but because it says something that we frequently forget.

the tweet ends “said: “Never underestimate the power you have.” I said “thank you so much sir” He said, “No, I’m serious.” Paused, looked me in the eyes, and said “Thank you for being a voice. I mean it.” Chills. Absolute chills. 4 more years!”

We need to remember that. We are voices here. All of us. We are like minded people, either Democrats in the U.S. or democrats from all over the world and we want to see democracy prevail. Joe Biden is wise enough to know that every voice counts, ever effort counts. Let’s not forget that as we go into the greatest fight of our lives to save America. Do whatever you can to get somebody registered, educate somebody on a down ballot candidate, on a proposition, anything that serves the higher purpose of keeping America a constitutional democracy with the best people in office that we can possibly put there.

    • I am simply hoping that the MAGA minority, vocal and cray cray as it is, does not speak for the rest of America. It didn’t in 2020. And God knows Trump’s situation has deteriorated since then. Bigly. I can only assume that he’s going to lose by that much more.

  5. With all the focus on Britt’s delivery, it must be noted she offered NO solutions for…well, for anything. Katie Britt. just . doesn’t . get . it.

    • The reporting I’ve seen is that she talks and acts like a normal Senator. That’s why even her GOP colleagues were “making WTF?” comments during and after the speech. Because it wasn’t the Katie Britt they’ve come to know. When her friends in the Senate are freaking the f**k out about her over acting you know she blew it. Or meekly followed orders to put on that type of effort. Not that I don’t find her beliefs appalling. Yes, she gets privileges to a degree for selling out women by fronting the agenda of her while male masters but one has to keep in mind she largely believes in the same shit. But she’d like to have a bit easier a life than most women who live under the umbrella of her belief system and had the ‘whatever” qualities it took to get elected so she gets a staff/perks to help tend to her daily life. In return all she has to do it pretend that every woman can enjoy the “good life” she has – as long as they vote Republican/Trump/MAGA.

  7. She reminds me of the Niece From Hell. Too many teeth, fake smiles, Mean Girl who is convinced she is going straight to heaven because she is kind and good and holy.
    I gave up.three minutes in. TpSge was so.much like the brat I endured in GA for 12 years.I have mild PTSD because of her.A nasal.Southern voice makes me feel.unsafe.
