There has to be one somewhere, because she is just stepping in the *ahem* mud every time she talks. Her poise is starting to fray. Her shine is starting to dull. She’s flailing away, trying to keep Trump covered and keep the Epstein file away from him. She doesn’t give a damn about anyone but Trump and herself, and even those are fading. Pam Bondi has faced a “MAGA media backlash” after deflecting from a question about Jeffrey Epstein this week by pivoting to the strong performance of the economy, a backlash so fierce that one political expert suspects she might get the boot from President Donald Trump. On Wednesday, Bondi testified before the House Judiciary Committee, fielding a barrage of questions about her agency’s failure to investigate or prosecute potential co-conspirators of Jeffrey Epstein adequately.
Golly gee, ya THINK? Her whole session was a farce. She redirected as many Epstein questions as possible into unrelated nonsense, and couldn’t even look at the survivors sitting behind her. Damn straight their information was not redacted. That shifts attention away from Trump. Now that people know who they are, they can go after them instead. After all, MAGA won’t want them saying anything bad about their orange tin god. Maybe.
On multiple occasions, Bondi pivoted from questions about Epstein to brag about the performance of the Dow Jones, a pivot that has gone on to be ridiculed in both liberal and conservative media spaces. And, while Bondi may have been sufficiently loyal to Trump during the hearing, the widespread mockery has put her on “shaky ground” with the president, political strategist and expert Mohamad Aly Elleithee said on CNN Saturday.
Yea, she probably wasn’t expecting the verbal annihilation after that farce. That’s called ‘not thinking things through’. She made herself look Very Bad and, by extension, made Trump look bad. He is NOT going to be happy about that. Oh, to have a camera in that room when he calls her in for a ‘conversation’. She’s going to come out with her hair scorched, or so we could hope.
“She was performing for an audience of one, but that audience of one does pay attention to Fox, does pay attention to internet memes, and if he feels like it’s leading to he and his administration being mocked by their own people, that’s shaky ground to be on,” Elleithee said during an appearance on CNN’s “The Arena: Saturday.” “It was a disqualifying performance by someone who is increasingly becoming disqualified by the American people; her approval ratings, the Department of Justice’s approval ratings under her have plummeted.” “I mean, oh my lord! This was a disaster. They’re making fun of her on Fox News, which is when it really hurts because that’s what the president watches,” Lulu Garcia-Navarro said.
Okay, when *Fox News* is making fun of her, that became a major, major problem. We know Trump (I first typed TGrump. lol) loves Fox because they flatter him. And for *them* to make fun of her may be (hopefully) the final straw, because Trump’s feefees get hurt easily. She did quite the opposite of what she was trying to achieve. She’s embarrassed instead of self-righteous. Let her defend it, and let us keep mocking. See you soon!
