Your backward hillybilly hee haw routine may amuse you and a few others but if there’s one thing that I know about Colorado, having grown up there, it’s that they don’t cotton at all to being considered backward hicks from the sticks. Not.One.Bit. There are a lot of quiet people there, as there are everywhere, who may not come out and say what pleases or displeases them, but they will vote next November and you and hubby will have to find another hustle.

The problem with Boebert is that she’s imitation everything. She’s imitation Marjorie Taylor Greene and imitation Sarah Palin. There’s nothing genuine there, it’s all an act done for a payoff. The act will go on for as long as it does, but she mis-stepped herself bigly today with this number.

Someone who TRULY loves the flag and wants to honor the Pledge would hang a placard containing the Pledge BELOW the flag; someone who merely wants to use their “patriotism” as a media gimmick displays a flag that’s been defaced.
There may well be a lot of quiet people not saying much. They might even come out and vote. Problem is, Bobo the Clown was elected in the first place because there WERE a lot of people in her district who are just like her and they did come out and vote.
