Friends, you may have noticed that the site has recently become all-Susan, all the time. While you love Susan, and so do we, PolitiZoom is made up of many voices. Some of us have been offline with pressing life obligations, notably Denis Elliot and myself. I have been moving households, Denis has been in the hospital after a severe fall that caused him to have 32 staples in his head. Denis now says, “PZ has its own cyborg.”
Denis will be out of action for weeks to come. For myself, I just moved in July 1 to a new place due east of the Vegas Strip. It’s one of those 55-plus retirement communities.
Packing and moving has been an ordeal. If I ever move again I will throw out or sell many many things. When we are younger we are object oriented. We collect things. We love our “things” be they books, fancy cookware, you name it. I have many of both. And at this stage of the game I find myself seeking simplicity. From speaking with people my age (73) I hear the same thing. The “collections” all harken back to another time and now many people seek the simple life.
Denis and I will both be back, me sooner than Denis. I’m still running around town picking up a modem and other necessary accoutrements of modern life. Denis will still be in the hospital for at least another week and could use your greetings and your prayers. He’s stuck with no computer, which is just as well, he needs the rest and recuperation.
Murf is still in burnout stage from Trump II. Murf will return when Murf is visited by the Muse. Jason is working for Raw Story and will be here from time to time keeping us apprised. That leaves Susan pulling the plow, and well and true she has pulled it. Brava! Mopsy still gives us pootie/woozle pieces on Sunday. (Pooties are cats, woozles are dogs.)
The political scene is heating up the closer we get to the midterms. PZ will have a full staff to deal with it all. Things will get back to normal and our output will be what it has been in the past, 10-12 new stories and features daily.
Bear with us. The Little Political Blog That Could has been through a lot of upheaval, some of it from within, most of it from without. But we shall persevere and we shall overcome.

Thank you. Very much!!!
