I’ll be concise because I know your time is valuable. After the 2024 election a tsunami of rejection hit mainstream media and liberal independent media. Half of America is tuned out from and disgusted with politics. Half of America has simply chosen to withdraw from reading about politics. I don’t blame them. I’m disgusted and disillusioned myself with the political landscape.
But here at PolitiZoom, we have chosen to keep going and we are running on fumes right now. Profits made from previous prosperious years have simply been spent. 2025 was one of the worst years in the blog’s history.
So I’m asking you to help us survive. We cannot depend upon ad revenue as we once did so that leaves our readers. If you can find an extra few dollars to kick in our direction it will help us keep going.
Nobody here is making any money. This is what we do for love, like that old song from A Chorus Line. We are a handful of dedicated Democrats shining a spotlight on the important stories and developments in politics. Unfortunately, we live in a material world and the bills come due every month. We are running in the red as I speak, or I would not be here, hat in hand, pleading for help. Just like the image atop this article, we are the Little Engine in the storm. We’re game to get through it but we need help.
