For heaven’s sake, Trump has absolutely lost it. We thought he already had, but it’s gotten worse. He has done something even more stupid than the war. It’s going to bite us, and bite hard. President Donald Trump issued a major directive Sunday to the U.S. Navy to target vessels of any nation that comply with Iran’s demand for tolls to transit the Strait of Hormuz. “I have instructed our Navy to seek and interdict every vessel in International Waters that has paid a toll to Iran,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social. “No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas.”
What the holy F**K. That’s nonsense. That’s moronic. And if he hadn’t noticed the world was turning against him, he certainly ought to see it now! We can’t just stop ships! There are important cargoes coming out of there! We need them! But he wants to stop them for paying a toll to get through? Where is this coming from!!!!???
Trump’s directive was issued after a U.S. delegation left a grueling 21-hour negotiation with Iranian officials empty-handed, and with no agreement reached to bring about an end to the U.S. war against Iran or reopen the Strait of Hormuz, closed by Iran since the Trump administration’s initial attack on Iran in late February. Furthermore, Trump also announced a new blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, effective immediately. “Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the Finest in the World, will begin the process of BLOCKADING any and all Ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz,” Trump wrote.
This royally pisses me off. We have NO BUSINESS blockading ships in international waters. We have NO BUSINESS blocking ships from other countries. Iran is primarily blocking against *us*. The toll they ask ships to pay is ridiculously high, but ships have started moving through. Now Dumbass Donnie wants to stop them??!!!! He really is that clueless!

As to the negotiations themselves, Trump wrote in a separate social media post that the U.S. delegation – led by Vice President JD Vance – was “very friendly” to the Iranian negotiating team, but that the talks failed because Tehran refused to commit to not pursuing a nuclear weapon.
*Might* be a mine? More like *is* a mine. We watched them lay them down. We know they’re out there. Iran knows exactly where they are, so they can guide ships through. Otherwise, it would be a crapshoot. “At some point we will reach…” That should mean we leave the Gulf *now* and let people get back to business. The ships being held up, the last number I saw was 400, are causing a global crisis in more ways than one. It’s not just oil that passes through. This Trump and Hegseth chest-thumping needs to STOP so we can get the world back up and going again. It angers me that it’s not going to happen. And what in the hell is going on with our military following illegal orders?
