Let’s go with Door #1, shall we?
And here we see DACA aka the DREAMers – Children who came to the US, but are not documented, BUT may become so if the courts agree. This program actually stopped on July 16, 2021, as the courts decided this policy was “illegal”. What a great thing this is for controlling the number of “illegal” children, right?
The Mango Messiah states he wants to work with Democrats on legislation that could keep the DREAMers in the country – but his previous record shows nothing of the kind. He tried to terminate DACA. And he called on *Congress* to protect them, which, of course, they did not do. He tried to end the program in 2017, which threw many DREAMers into legal limbo, but the Supreme Court halted it over procedural failures. When he spoke of a bipartisan deal to handle this situation, many Congress Democrats AND Republications indicated he would have to actually *do* something this time – “put his shoulder to the wheel”. I think we can say talking is one thing, action is another. Both sides of the “aisle” seem to have sympathies for the DREAMers but it’s the same thing – all talk no action and that does not do ANYONE *any* good.
So here we are, looking at children who have no idea if they’re going to be kicked out or not, and I would bet that they have little or no family with them because of deportation, don’t ya know? To me it seems like the Tangerine Palpatine is just trying to make himself look good. “See? I’m a winner and I actually DO want to protect these children even though I tried to end the DACA program – I was just kidding around.” Well, yeah, everything he does has to benefit him personally. The children don’t matter except for the numbers and the occasional “Look what we did for them”. DUDE. It’s all or nothing. You’re in, or you’re out. The veil is going to be lifted from his face on January 20, 2025. Then we’ll *really* see what’s under the mask and if it’s action or inaction. Or destruction, come to think of it, which is totally unrelated to the subject, but everyone has a substitute teacher now and then…
I’m guessing all talk (he *is* full of hot air, after all) and blustering and look at what I can do … as long as it benefits him. The country is going to continue going downhill at a faster and faster speed.

That’s pretty harsh. This is a heartbreaking issue that’s been talked about (without any resolution from all the talk) for too many years. Pointing out politicians and Trump in particular talkling out both side of their ass is what the author has done. None of us like it when someone stings our conscience. But I didn’t have any trouble following what the article talked about, or why these young people who have suffered through so much uncertainty have good reason to fear now more than ever.
It’s easy to sit out there and take potshots at those who tackle this or other subjects. If you don’t like, disagree with or have a question about an article or a given point made in it that’s why we have a comments section like any other site. However from where I sit your comment is just mean-spirited. If you think you can do better then write a REAL comment about the issue and why you felt this article was lacking in some way. Or submit your own fooking articles if you think you can do better than any of us who put in the effort to post articles. But please, both to you and others bear in mind one can be critical and/or offer constructive criticism to what’s written and posted here whether an article or someone’s comment without being blatantly insulting and downright nasty.

His mass deportation will be a disaster. Between states offering bounties for “illegals”, the national guard/military being called out, and making families choose between those who are citizens leaving with those who are not yet citizens to a country they do not know, nor do they want to know. Imagine being flown to some war-torn country where you know no one, perhaps do not speak the language, have no money, no housing, no protection against the gangs, etc., and having to live there. I cry for these people who did nothing wrong except for coming to this country to make a better life for themselves and their families and didn’t yet get the proper documentation. It will be horrible and I’m sure fux will televise every sadistic thing they can, including people getting shot. FU Magats!! You will not like it when the results are felt in your wallets. But you owned the libs!
