WATCH: MAGA Leaves Vile, Threatening Message On Fred Upton’s Office Voicemail

As you are aware, La Genius Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted out the congressional office phone numbers of her 13 colleagues who decided to do the jobs they were elected to do and voted or the infrastructure package, thereby assuring roads, bridges, many other good things to their constituents in the years to come. But Greene framed the vote and the passage of the bill as treachery, because she is not a legislator, she is a troll and a PR person, whose actual function is to promote the culture war.

So Fred Upton (R-MI) got this blast of bilge on his voice mail. It is worth noting, because it is not isolated. This is how MAGA rolls. They encourage harassment. You may recall that Mike Lindell told his followers to come after me on Facebook and Twitter — with the net result that I got 200 new followers virtually overnight. Lindell’s buffoonery blew up in his face, but the fact remains that this is not all funny ha ha. Some of the MAGAs threaten people and there are public figures, Anthony Fauci being the poster child, who have had to hire armed guards because of MAGA targeting.

That is very ugly and what is reinforced here is that the caller leaving the message knows nothing of government but is listening to the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene. To her and her compatriots, the moronic Madison Cawthorne and Lauren Boebert and the unspeakable Matt Gaetz, this is all a TV show. They take that cue from their Orange Squadron Leader, who led them in four years to a unified Democratic government.

Cawthorne says “he’s going to primary the hell” out of people who voted for the bill. That would be comical but for the fact that the man has nothing in lieu of Biden’s bill. It’s exactly like what Obama used to say about healthcare, “They don’t like my plan but they don’t have a plan of their own.” And they never did. The buffoonery and posturing around repeal and replace was a joke that went on ad nauseum — but it was never accompanied by death threats like this.

We have plunged down a steep slide in our civic discourse and the reason lies squarely at the feet of the mental midgets in the Republican caucus who give permission to this kind of rancid low life behavior. They go beyond giving permission, enabling, they openly encourage this kind of thing.

The GOP is a rotted husk. It stopped being any kind of a legitimate political party when it put Donald Trump on their ticket and played along for the laughs. How far does this have to go? Until everybody in Congress is under armed guard 24/7 and the guard doubles if they dare to vote across the aisle?
