A word about Hillary – they DID investigate her and they found nothing to prosecute. They forget that if Comey hadn’t made his re-investigation statement only weeks before the election, Grump would have lost and they’d all still be under their rocks, in their basements and everywhere else slime mold collects.
Not necessarily. Remember that Trump was constantly touting that if he lost the election (in 2016), his followers should be prepared to march on DC to stop Clinton’s inauguration.
If–*IF*–that didn’t happen, then certainly Trump would be able to use his claims of a “stolen election” to help maintain his “Republican leader” status longer than most presidential election losers hold. (Remember that McCain was quickly pushed aside as “Mr Republican” after losing in 2008 and Romney lost that title almost as quickly after 2012. Neither man was really sought for endorsements after losing. But Trump could’ve possibly remained a power broker till at least after the midterms.)
