ICE is in a pack, like wolves, and they’re strolling through Minneapolis streets being tough guys, shouting and ordering people around. The people, meanwhile, are chanting *Brown Shirts* and continuing their peaceful protest. As you will see from the video, the sowing of chaos and aggression is the purpose here, not making the city safer from illegal aliens. (Pro tip: most of the illegal aliens ICE seeks are to be found in southern states, emphatically not in states near the Canadian border.)

These are ugly images and they are becoming commonplace. Portand, Oregon is another place where you’re going to have to look long and hard to find illegal aliens. Texas or Florida would be good choices for ICE but you don’t seem to see so much activity down there, now do you?
For that matter, go check the green cards of people working at Mar-a-Lago. It might surprise you what you’ll find.
ICE Barbie and her THUGS are as I wrote earlier seemingly mystified that for all the bluster and threats people aren’t obeying them. I think I’ve figured out the problem. As the warden in Cool Hand Luke says ‘What we have here is a failure to communicate’ and I can see why. Most Americans don’t speak fucking GERMAN in Hitler ere Nazi dialect!
The attack on the Capitol by Trump’s people was a modern Reichstag Fire. Now, as you say he’s got his modern Brownshits (you’d think instead of green they’d be wearing desert camo which is brown themed. Oh, and Sam Browne belts with fittings they could use to hold things like tear gas cannisters, brass knuckles etc.) out there.
It does my heart good to see people not backing down. Bovino is clearly genuinely pissed that so many are so openly out in the cold and snow calling him and his p.o.s. goons out for what they are. He’s not going to enjoy his next interaction with the Mang Messiah of MAGA.
You know what I noticed? ICE was on one side of the street and protesters were on the other. They were shouting insults (I’d have far harsher and more profane ones, at least if there weren’t any kids around to hear) but no one was throwing anything. Not even Subway Sandwiches. (Good call. If the wrapper stayed pretty much in place while give some ICE asshole a free meal?) So ICE quite deliberately crossed the street to try and provoke a confrontation. And the people in front of them KEPT BACKING UP, all of it caught on film.
Even Bovino had to realize not even Trump himself could get away with claiming protesters initiated a fight with ICE! We are getting to a point where protesters need to emulate black people from when we were so very young. Simply sit down. With so many people filming on their phones and even for those with more tech savvy than I have live-streaming it the more ICE yanks people up then throws them face down to put cuffs or zip ties on them the worse it will look. Even a lot of folks in MAGA territory will look at all those WHITE folks getting Bull Connor or Edmund Pettis Bridge treatment and get sick to their stomachs. After all, lots of them know “illegals” who work in their towns and on there farms who are quiet, or sometimes acitive contributors to the community and well liked.
When ICE wants to have a ‘big event’ by raiding some food/meat processing plant what have they done? Nothing. I say all the time conservatives have no shame but the fact is some do and just as a lot of white folks got shamed into action in the Civil Rights era Trump has his ICEstapo doing the same shit all those southern (mostly southern) Sheriffs and Police Chiefs did. The country finally had enough.
It won’t be soon enough to suit any of us but we’ll get to a tipping point where Trump will have to order some changes and force some top minions to fall on their swords so HE can save face. That’s all he cares about. He will thrown anyone under the bus to save his own ass and we all know it.
