Well, in a way I suppose this was inevitable. With the return of Trump and Trumpism we are seeing some new names, most notably Elon Musk in the picture. Alas, some of the old cast of characters is still lurking around, albeit somewhat in the background. Stephen Miller for example. And I expect to see Roger Stone before long. He won’t be able to resist gloating whether Trump wants him to or not. One name we thought maybe was all in the past has now made it back into the news. Yep, Mike Lindell is back in the news although not in a good way. I wouldn’t even bring it up except for the effort to re-write history Trump 2.0 is making regarding the 2020 election. Since Lindell is in a world of hurt financially expect him to try and revive his ‘Trump Wuz Robbed! machine.
As reported by The Associated Press a Minnesota judge has ordered ‘MyPillow Mikey’ to cough up the money he owes to DHL. It seems Lindell had agreed in October to fork over $550k but didn’t. Don’t forget he’s still facing lawsuits from Dominion and Smartmatic. In any case he owed the amount noted and more to DHL and as of now the judge is ordering Lindell to cough up $778k which includes I guess the amount he owed (and didn’t pay) to DHL plus interests, attorney’s fees (to DHL) and so on:
The award includes over $48,000 in interest and over $4,800 for DHL’s attorney’s fees. The order, signed last month by Hennepin County Judge Susan Burke, said MyPillow had agreed in October to pay DHL $550,000 but failed to do so and did not send anyone to a hearing last month on DHL’s effort to collect.
I’m betting Lindell doesn’t have anywhere that much cash on hand. If you’ve followed his saga he’s already severely curtailed operations and sold off equipment and space. All that money he spent fluffing Trump who claims (as Lindell has done) is worth many billions and it’s Lindell who’s the one headed for the poorhouse! I didn’t actually open articles I saw with titles about whether Lindell was at Mar A Lago talking with Elon Musk during the New Year’s partying but I’m pretty sure the most Lindell would have gotten if they DID meet up was ‘Have fun tonight. I’ll get back to you…’ and that’s assuming Lindell even made the guest list! For all of his millions Lindell spent on Trump, Elon has spent WAY more and there’s no way he want Lindell around.
For most in Trump World and probably even Trump himself Lindell is proverbially banished to the basement with Rudy. Keep em out of sight so to speak. On the other hand Trump STILL can’t let go of the notion of convincing everyone HE actually won the 2020 election. And there was no bigger advocate that generated more news (even if much of it led to mocking of not just Lindell but Trump) than Mike Lindell. Trump might not let him out of the basement but he might head down there himself with one of the crazies who still has access to him to bounce ideas off Lindell.
Wouldn’t it be funny if Lindell flat-out asked Elon Musk to pay off his court ordered tab? Now THAT would be a moment for the ages! It doesn’t matter that it would be mere tip money to Musk. What would matter is that it would give Lindell enough oxygen to ramp up his b.s. ‘The elections was “STOLLEN” from Trump machine.’ I just don’t see Musk tolerating that. He sure as hell doesn’t seem to be helping Rudy G. so I don’t see him helping Lindell either. Maybe Musk could have them whisked off to some little island with a couple of huts and send supplies once a week. One can always hope.
Again, I wouldn’t have even raised this except Trump can’t get over getting his ass beat in 2020. Even though he won this time, albeit just barely. Having a woman, and worse a woman of color come so close to beating him is in some ways a wound to his ego as massive as the margin Biden had over him! So who knows? We might see ‘The Return of MyPillow Mike Lindell’ with another round of the same old lies. Part of me hopes we do. I’ve sometimes said I take my entertainment where I can find it and it would be entertaining to see the Dynamic Dunce Duo of Trump and Lindell reprise their act. The bonus would be how much more pathetic and ridiculous it would make Trump look. ANYTHING that weakens him (and the sooner the better) is a good thing as far as I’m concerned.
In the meantime, however much you’d forgotten Mike Lindell or if you did remember him give thanks you’d heard the last of him well… Heeeees Baaaack!

Ah…the HYPOCRISY at work again. I wonder how many fathers, without a job, are hauled out of court in CUFFS, THAT very day the court says they are in contempt for being broke, and can’t pay child support? Thousands. Wonderful how the rich and well connected live in a different legal system. GOOD JOB LAW SCHOOLS!!!!!! Oh gee, I thought you were gonna also recall the other Mike Lindell case that he is still fighting. Remember Mike’s phony-baloney “Cybersymposium” where he would show proof of Trump’s election win due to some info hidden in “data packets?” Lindell had about 100 participants there and fewer than 1000 people virtually. He put some mumbo-jumbo gobbledygook on the big screen and said some inanities. And, as these idiots often do, he challenged anyone to prove him wrong and offered $5M to anyone who could. A guy proved him wrong, quickly, and courts have upheld that Lindell owes the money…of course he hasn’t paid. Lindell claims he can’t pay and has too many debts. The judge yesterday ordered Lindell to open his books, all of them, to the winner of the $5M and his attorneys.* In many ways, I find this case the most interesting because Lindell thought he was throwing out a challenge no one would grab onto…kind of like “if you don’t like My Pillow, I’ll refund your money.” I imagine that is a big lie, too! 🤥🤥
