It’s going to be a very merry Christmas at Mar-a-Lago, that much is certain. Donald Trump began posting bright and early on Truth Social. It’s the usual screaming, repetitive accusations, but it is worth reading for one reason: it gives you the parameters of where Trump is going forward into his third run for the presidency.
And those parameters are narrow indeed. Claustrophobically so. He’s got one direction and one direction only, and this is it.
Trump has turned a corner here. He really is Crazy Grandpa screaming at clouds. He’s got one tool, and that is the new House coming into power January 3.

He has to go this way. Trump can only run on grievance politics. He’s got to talk about American Carnage and how bad and awful it all is. That’s all he’s got. He’s a destroyer, not a builder and it’s a lot faster and easier to destroy something than to build it.

You’ve probably caught enough snippets of the J6 Committee transcripts to know that Trump did acknowledge that he lost, but he didn’t want to concede just yet, all that. So he turned a loss, an embarrassing loss, into a mountain of denial instead and this is the hill he’s going to die on.
I don’t see how any other conclusion can be reached. Trump’s going to weaponize the GOP-led House, or he will at least try to do so. Andy Biggs will do what Trump wants. Whether Kevin McCarthy will or Steve Scalise, is not known. That may be the next power play you see, Biggs attempting to get Trump’s endorsement.
I tend to tune out anyone who over uses superlatives. To tfg, everything is “the likes of which this country has never seen”. The only thing this country has never seen before is a lying, orange painted, poofy haired con man who just won’t go away!

If he won in 2020, then he isn’t eligible to run in 2024. 22nd Amendment restricts you to two wins.
So the ‘government’ fixed it and cheated on the election results with the connivance of the FBI?
Has he sort of forgotten that, when the election was held AND the counting up to and including the certification on the 6th of January, HE was the president and the FBI and DoJ were run by people HE appointed? Not to overlook the fact that the only substantiated cases of electoral fraud were committed by Republican voters.
