The inhabitants of Greenland have gone through it all with Donald Trump: they have mocked him with AI polar bears and penguins, they have refused to host Usha Vance on a state visit, they have gone into the streets to tell him, flat out, “We don’t like you.” Maybe some of it will sink in. (Not that it really needs to. Trump was informed that Europe could start selling off its American debt and tank our economy if Trump continues with his Greenland quest and that caused the situation to shut down toute suite.)
Greenland resident: “Trump, if you watch this, we don’t like you. Don’t come to Greenland. It's not for sale.”
Reporter: “He said he wants to make you great.”

That’s Trump, making enemies and influencing people badly, worldwide. Greenland is probably his greatest fizzle to date. He has absolutely zero support, other than Stephen Miller, for invading our ally. All of Europe and NATO is against it. For the moment, Trump has been effectively checkmated. Look for Greenland to drift out of the news slowly, Trump’s greatest flop that never was.

I think he accomplished one of Putin’s goals- breaking up NATO. Certainly pulling the US out of it, since Canada and Europe have figured out that they have to fend for themselves.
He hasn’t succeeded in breaking up NATO yet.
Watch for Trump to restart his campaign of intimidation against Canada, now that the Greenland saga has ended, both intended to distract our attention from such pesky scandals as the missing Epstein Files and ICE murdering people during its illegal occupation of Minneapolis.
The people of Greenland can see perfectly well what Trump is doing to Minneapolis, what he’s doing the whole country. Why in their wildest nightmares would they want to be part of the United States? Why would any Americans in their right ind think that they would? Especially since it’s obvious that a he wants is to steal their most valuable resources and destroy their fairly pristine environment.
