This makes “the dog ate my homework” sound truly plausible. Donald Trump is denying utterly that his Jesus post was a depiction of Jesus, when he had a different intention altogether, that of appearing to be a doctor. Do any of your doctors wear long robes and have three-horned creatures floating in the air above them? MAGA medicine must be wild if that’s the case.

Oh, the long red robes were of a Red Cross worker, we see. Silly us. And of course Red Cross workers have celestial light coming from their hands, yes indeed.

The doubling down is so pathetic that it’s positively comical. I love the part that “only the fake news” would have interpreted Trump’s Jesus post as a Jesus post. I think anybody who had ever seen any kind of Biblical art would have identified this as the obvious religious reference that it is.

But Trump can’t apologize. So much for the apology to the American people and you know Trump isn’t going to apologize to God. He doesn’t believe in God. Those of us who are reverant towards God would never allow such a blasphemous image to go out into the world.

This is all part of the overall winddown of Trump’s show. He’s running out of steam and it shows.

  1. This contemporary Caligula shows weaknesses and indulgences that are revealed through his publicly displayed traits and variety of appetites: blasphemous, idolatrous, traitorous, disingenuous, rapacious, and insatiably gluttonous for ill-gotten fame and sycophantic adoration. He appears to be heading into a permanent state of insanity, or at least hovers on the verge, whilst, along the way, occasionally passes into delusions of grandeur and unhinged rants. This shows how publicly desperate he has privately become. All of this madness must concurrently fatigue and denervate his failing, fading and increasingly odious pathetic existence. It’s Trump to a ‘T’. He owns it and can’t slough it. No walk backs. No excuses.

  2. It’s totally in character for him to never apologize. When he was confronted about the ugly things he said to a female journalist, (I think it Mika Brzezinski or Megyn Kelly) he didn’t say he was sorry-he said “excuse me” with a smile.
I found a quote in the cap of my iced tea today, “Truth is so rare that it is delightful to tell it.”
    Emily Dickinson

  3. His obsession with The Epstein Ballroom continues – it’s there on the top left next to The Statue Of Liberty. One of the only two buildings pictured.
