This is three kinds of weird but thanks to Democratic VP candidate Tim Walz weird is now the operative word of Trump world. I was watching TV a while ago and saw a clip of Trump talking about cocaine with a Podcaster. Apparently the guy (the podcaster) was a huge cocaine junkie but has gotten himself clean. Good for him. Still, the back and forth felt… well weird. Trump seemed engaged in this. Later it got me to wondering if Trump is seeking some understanding of his namesake. Let’s face it, it’s hard not to believe Don Jr. isn’t coked out of his gourd in some of his online musings/rants.
I went looking online and sure enough uinterview, an outlet I’d never heard of had a story up about this bit of dialogue Trump had with Podcaster Theo Von. It’s not exactly what I’d call a gripping or compelling exchange but it’s still remarkable in its own way. Trump really seems interested and wants some details about getting/being high on cocaine. Not that Trump wants or needs any. If he wants to get amped up or mellowed out on drugs that’s what he’s got “doctor” Ronny Jackson for. (I put doctor in quotes because Jackson is only licensed to practice medicine in an actual physical VA facility – for a little while longer at least)
Trump seems genuinely interested. Not that he cares about Don Jr. or any of his kids. But he needs all the surrogates he can get these days and while Junior ain’t much he’s slavishly devoted to his dad. If only for his allowance and a roof over his head! When he’s not coked out Junior (Trump feels) can “reach” the male MAGA goobers out there with his rants. Trump can trust him that much at least. The problem as we all know is those nighttime chats, or laments or rants. The ones where Junior has the bloodshot eyes, and the face of someone who got all amped up on cocaine but took some downers to try and be coherent for the camera. THAT doesn’t help Trump at all.
Also, maybe I’ve missed it but it doesn’t seem like we’ve heard from Junior lately. Is he locked down with orders not to go online? Or appear in public where people might start asking him questions – with their cell phones recording? Supposedly J.D. Vance would be the political version of Junior that could be a non-high EVER Junior out on the campaign trail. We’ve seen how well that’s worked out as in not at all. Since Vance isn’t getting that job done that means Trump actually needs Junior!
However I’ve already stated the problem with Junior. I also can’t help but wonder if, as rumors say Junior was instrumental in the disastrous choice of Vance Trump banished him. And, between that and seeing J.D. out there day after day Don Jr. has gone into a tailspin. As much as anything that might explain Trump sitting down with a podcaster who makes a BFD about having kicked a self-described hard core cocaine habit. News stringers should keep an eye out for Theo Von around Mar A Lago!

It’s his backup plan for when he runs out of Adderall.
I don’t think it was all that hard for shitzi’s boys to persuade him to choose vance. All they’d have to say is “dad, last time your political “professionals” had you pick pence and how did that go? When you needed him most he failed you.”
I think they had it in the bag just reminding trump about pence who I imagine might just be, in trump’s mind, his worst enemy.
