So I pop back to the news and re-discover today is the day the “President” of El Salvador came to visit the president. Remember the piece I just posted? Yea, that. The meeting comes as a legal battle heats up between the administration and judiciary over a Maryland man mistakenly deported to a Salvadoran megaprison. Definitely, yea, that. He’s talking to El Salvador’s representative. How hard would it be for tRump to ask him off-camera to return Albrego Garcia? Oh, wait, Agent Orange won’t do the small things like this because they are beneath him and not worth his time. Cue me rolling my eyes. (He’s too busy screwing around with tariffs. Silly me.)
Ha. Apparently, I was wrong. It’s a nice change *ahem*. Reporters asked. Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele said he doesn’t “have the power” to return to the United States a man mistakenly deported to his country. “How can I return him to the United States? Did I smuggle him into the United States?” he said when asked repeatedly whether he would return Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, who the Trump administration conceded was mistakenly deported to El Salvador’s mega-prison “because of an administrative error.” Here we go again! Baloney, he doesn’t have the power. He’s the damn PRESIDENT of his country! “Asked by reporters at the Oval Office on Monday whether he has the power to release Abrego Garcia inside El Salvador, Bukele said he does, but that his administration isn’t “very fond of releasing terrorists” in his country.” Grrrrr I call BS! They ought to release him! It’s not like he would actually go into the country. He could just wait outside the prison for the next plane load of “gang members” to arrive and then go on the return flight!
Y’all, I call BS on this whole thing, Traitor Tot, and the DOJ, and President Nayib Bukele. Something is still not making sense. I’ve already ranted on this enough today. However, there was also some interesting news reported about the Justice Department. If El Salvador decided to return the Maryland father mistakenly deported to the country’s mega-prison, the US would “provide a plane” due to a Supreme Court ruling, US Attorney General Pam Bondi said Monday. The Trump administration has said Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia was sent to El Salvador in March due to an “administrative error.” The administration claims he is a ranking member of the MS-13 gang, but his lawyers and family have rejected those claims. Additional paperwork had needed to be done. That’s up to El Salvador if they want to return him. That’s not up to us. The Supreme Court ruled that if “El Salvador wants to return him … we would facilitate it: meaning, return a plane,” Bondi said today in the Oval Office as President Donald Trump met with his Salvadoran counterpart, Nayib Bukele. That’s a mighty big turnaround from yesterday.

Regardless of his gang affiliation or status he was an illegal alien subject to deportation. The administrative error was because some activist judge deemed it was too dangerous to be deported to his home country (as if that’s our problem).

There is so much more going on here! Too many people have said, since January 20, 🤔 “you know it looks like we are headed for a Constitutional crisis.” I could make the case that the crisis has been ongoing since Trump’s teeny-weeny election win; no mandate, not even a simple majority of the woefully small number of citizens who actually voted.
But for people who keep moving the Constitutional crisis goalposts…Susan, we have to help them know, each day, more than once a day, that crisis is here!!
Trump is ignoring all of Congres. He has now told the Supreme Court to go F*ck itself because it voted 9-0 against him so what good are they?! He is the Tyrant! The Despot! He is Mao, Hitler, and Pol Pot!!
The administration (AG, SecState, Chief of Staff Wiles, and that uberNazi Deputy Chief of Staff Miller) sat there with Trump and the Salvadoran despot and lied about what SCOTUS said. They lied about Abrego Garcia and all our other prisoners at the CECOT concentration camp calling them convicted animals; total dehumanization!! They lied about who has jurisdiction and they called this a matter of international realations rather than a business contract Trump made with another country without the permission of Congress but expecting Congress to pay the bill! Bukele of El Salvador acts as if he has received the cash!! When Trump announced he needs Bukele to build 5 more CECOTs so he can start sending our “homegrown criminals” to El Salvador, Bukele acted as if he was a Doritos commercial…”send all you want, we’ll make more room!”
Of course that’s what Trump wants! A place where he can disappear lawyers and journalists and protesters and Dems in Congress and then claim those enemies are gone forever because they were disappeared to a “sovereign country that we will not have the right to demand anything of!!” Holy Christ, how convenient is that?!
And, of corse Bukele wants them! He is getting paid an exorbitant amount for each unit (don’t call them people, that ship has sailed)! How about some math! Currently, Bukele has a contract to jail 300 units for one-year for $6M. Where did that $6M in un-appropriated funds come from?! Has anyone even asked?! It works out to $1600/month for each unit ($400 more per month than US expats say it costs to live comfortably in El Salvador).
These prisoner units do not live comfortably! CECOT was built to house 20K units, but was quickly cramming 40K into that space. The units live on concrete, never go outside, receive no visitors, and get some “food” once a day. $1600/month in MY taxpayer dollars are going for that?!
And how about the Trump/Bukele plan for 5 more of these hellholes, which got rousing applause in the Oval Office today?! With no Congressional contract negotiations or funding appropriation, Trump and Bukele shook hands on space for 400K more units (or however many they can jam in there)! That will require a minimum of $12B a year in these magically-appearing taxpayer dollars to disappear our fellow “homegrowns” with no due process!! For how many years? Who knows when this regime will end?
