What is going on with this guy? We can see the physical signs of aging, but the mental and emotional aren’t always visible, or at least not yet. This latest adventure is bizarre, even for him. He let loose on Truth Social in the middle of the night last night. There’s not even a façade of it having any rhyme or reason. It’s confusing (and embarrassing) and disturbing. From AlterNet:
President Donald Trump went on a bizarre Truth Social posting binge Monday night, as pointed out by many media experts, including Vaughn Sterling, executive producer of “The Source With Kaitlan Collins” on CNN, who wondered “what was going on last night?” CNN political reporter Aaron Blake posted one of the president’s unhinged posts, noting, “Trump last night promoted a post that guaranteed Barack Obama will face a military tribunal.” Meidas Touch co-founder Ben Meiselas posted screenshots of Trump’s Truth Social, saying, “Trump has made approximately 400 posts in the past hour, which include posts like this.”
Someone needs to explain this because, again, this is even further out of the solar system than Trump’s usual. Where is he getting his information? Back in the cobwebs in the corner of his tiny little brain? It doesn’t make sense, and it doesn’t sound like Laura Loomer or any of that nasty crowd. We know Trump hates (and is envious of) Obama. But this? Whoa. W T holy F.
One of those posts included an interview Meiselas did with former Attorney General Eric Holder and Holder’s call for reforming the Supreme Court. “Trump demanded that Republicans abolish the filibuster based on what Holder was telling me,” Meiselas writes in a Tuesday morning article titled, “Trump Attacks MeidasTouch in Midnight Mental Breakdown.” “Shortly after Trump made the post about MeidasTouch, there was a brief pause, and then he began making new posts every 10 seconds for a full hour, totaling about 400 posts,” Meiselas explains.
Good thing none of us were particularly awake then, because our jaws would have been on the floor. It’s impossible to understand. You ready for his train of thought? Michelle Obama to Biden’s autopen to President Maduro to Tren de Aragua to Venezuela to Canada to Obama’s “kill list” to lions and tigers and bears, oh my! The (pseudo) man has gone completely bonkers. Period. And, as yet, we don’t have a way to kick him out. Trump’s behavior is beyond frightening. This imbecilic child has the nuclear codes. And he wants to attack Venezuela. We can be certain Hegseth will go right along with that. He’s also lost his marbles, and they are rolling around under his feet. No one will pick up Petey Boy when he falls.

Completely insane conspiracy theories. He was clearly having a mental decline episode and was posting whatever came to mind. It’s going to get worse.”
This is nerve-wracking to watch. How half of the country is blind to this is STILL damn near incomprehensible. Plus, going to get worse? How much worse can it get? And when will the Doomsday Clock change? It’s already at 8 *seconds* to midnight, the closest it’s ever been. It’s 8 seconds away. Trump is going to faff around with nonsense, threats, and posts, and it will get closer. He’s made a mess of America. He’s made a mess of our reputation. *He* is a mess. The people who voted for him have some explaining to do. Once again, we ask, is the country going to survive? Trump has absolute immunity. Thanks for nothing, Justice Roberts. It’s on *his* head.

It’s like staring into the abyss of stupidity and lunacy. That’s pretty much a description of tRump’s mind.
The chaos and unpredictability of what looks like his spiral into delusion and madness, and impact on the ever precarious state and nature of his sanity, and so, by extension, its potential deleterious impact on his capacities and abilities in exercising both leadership and authority in his position of POTUS – is both concerning and frightening. His behaviour, or lack there of, is under the scrutiny of one and all to see. He’s failed. He’s failing. He continues to fail. He’s a living and breathing failure, that somehow is still tolerated in the position of POTUS. Surely ‘why and for how much longer must this go on?’ is being thought and whispered, in the various seemingly impotent ‘sotto voce’ corridors. Why?!
You should look up “sundowning.” Happens to demented patients starting around 4:00 in the evening and continuing throughout the night. This might explain some of the unhinged thoughts/behaviors
