What you’re about to read is not satire from a parody account. It is real. Evidently the New York Times sanitized it and then printed it the way Trump wrote it when they got the backlash. There is no real sanitizing of this madman and anybody who bothers to try is being disingenuous. Here’s what the leader of the western world shared on this world’s most holy day, observed by billions.
“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP”
You believe that? It followed this admonition from the day before.
“Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT. Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them. Glory be to GOD! President DONALD J. TRUMP”
This is the man who welcomes the Christian religion to the White House, we are told, due to his heavily religious background. From Meidas Touch:
So Saturday it’s “Glory be to GOD,” Sunday it’s “Praise be to Allah.” Yesterday he’s invoking the Christian God, today the Islamic one. He’s threatening to bomb a country and signing off with the religious greetings of both faiths. This is psychotic behavior. Full stop.
Now let me tell you what bothers me almost as much as Trump’s behavior, and that’s how the mainstream media keeps covering for him. The Associated Press described Trump’s post this way: “Trump promises strikes on Iran’s power plants and bridges on Tuesday if the Strait of Hormuz isn’t reopened.” Our editor-in-chief Ron Filipkowski replied simply: “You left out a few things from that post.” You think?
The New York Times was even worse. David Sanger went on CNN and described Trump’s unhinged, profane, impeachable Easter morning threat as, wait for it, “unusually vivid.” Unusually vivid! The man told a nation of 90 million people to “open the fuckin’ strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in hell” and David Sanger of the New York Times gave it a literary critique. “Unusually vivid.” I’d call it something else. Deranged. Dangerous. Disqualifying. Take your pick.
Unusually vivid. I call it lowlife and egregiously out of touch. Trump is the ultimate ugly American and he is destroying foreign policy in the world. Stay tuned for the next onslaught, it should be a beauty.

This is insane. Certifiably, completely insane. We’re already in hell with this …. thing as our nominal ‘leader’. I don’t get it. It’s not going to generate anything but laughter overseas. Iran knows our ‘president’ very well, as they have shown.
This is not going to end well.
Spot on, Susan, with one caveat: Trump’s nutso rhetoric will generate laughter overseas but behind the laughter is pure hatred and loathing being generated for such a despicable man.
And, sadly, for the nation which elected him not once but twice.
european leaders have probably told that if he follows through the us will face major sanctions. he’s screaming and threatening because he usually just threatens and people comply. this time it isn’t working and hecan’t handle it so he’s throwing a tantrum. i wonder if he knows allah, god, jehovah yahweh are all the same person.
At Easter?
The ‘F’ word in official WH statements?
Remember the fuss about Obama wearing a tan suit?
When THAT was considered ‘unpresidential’?
