The Fox/Trump love affair may have cooled on Fox’s part, but for Donald Trump’s part, he’s still in love. He’s tuned in and watching Fox avidly, every waking moment that he isn’t posting on social media or playing golf, or eating hamberders.
It is a source of constant irritation to Trump that Fox News is insufficiently deferential to him these days and the fact that they’re actually allowing libs to come on the air and predict how Trump will lose in 2024 — Trump is speechless.
But not thumb-less, and so this is what he pounded into his phone and out into the ethernet.
Trump will never adjust to not being the star of Fox News. It is simply beyond him and he’ll never accept that that ship has sailed and gone someplace else, without him.
The issue is that Marie Harf, who is a Fox News contributor said,
“There’s a lot of bedwetting that goes on in the media and Democratic circles every four years about who our nominee is going to be,” said Harf on The Faulkner Focus. “Joe Biden beat Donald Trump pretty handily in 2020. And if Donald Trump runs again I believe that Joe Biden can win again.”
“If you have Joe Biden against Donald Trump I will take my party’s chances any day in that race, Harris,” she told Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner.
And of course there’s this kind of dialogue along with the fact that Fox News won’t push the stolen election fable and that really frosts Trump.
Fox is certainly wary of repeating Trump’s false claims of election fraud, and for good reason: the network currently faces two multi-billion dollar defamation suits from voting tech companies for boosting conspiracy theories about 2020.

It will be a great day in this country when every single asinine thing former guy says is not considered to be anything other than what it really is: mindless drivel.

In both his elections more people preferred the Democratic contender.
Don’t miss the subtext here. Trump is as good as saying to his followers to stay home (unless they’re armed with deadly weapons) because none of their votes matter anyway. That’s what we call an opening, folks, one we should take advantage of.
Many years from now, historians will look back on what they will refer to as the “Trump Debacle” and the effect on the American political scene for a generation or more. More than anyone else, he debased and defiled the office of the Presidency, and made it acceptable for his base and his minions to conduct themselves in the most sociopathic manner. This country will never be the same.
If they’re smart enough to see the overall patterns that preceded Trump (which is debatable), they will see his joke of an administration as the ultimate culmination of 20 years of bad decisions on the part of a major political party that self-destructed in the aftermath. It will likely also put conservativism on the back foot for at a generation due to the aforementioned pattern of stupidity, put new constraints on the office of the Presidency (likely long overdue) and may even give us a couple of new states (if we are lucky).
