“I poop on Tucker Carlson.”
This was the money quote Friday night during a press conference with “Triumph The Insult Comedy Dog” after he and seven other employees the of “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” were told to sit and stay by Capitol Police while wrapping up filming of what was presumably a bit for the CBS show.
WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. Capitol Police said Friday that officers detained seven unauthorized people in a congressional office building Thursday night and charged them with unlawful entry…
… In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS said the production team was at the Capitol Wednesday and Thursday to record a comedy segment featuring Triumph.“Their interviews at the Capitol were authorized and pre-arranged through Congressional aides of the members interviewed,” the network said. “After leaving the members’ offices on their last interview of the day, the production team stayed to film stand-ups and other final comedy elements in the halls when they were detained by Capitol Police.”
“So, you see, I wasn’t off the leash… me and the folks who adopted me after “Conan” were wrapping up and we had permission to be in the building…” the Insult Dog growled, noting the MSN article.
“Where were these flatfoots on January 5th when Rep. Loudermilk led a parade of MAGA miscreants intent on violence on a three hour surveillance junket of the tunnels beneath the joint?” he continued.
“I poop on The Capitol Police.”
The arrests did not go unnoticed by idiot Tucker Carlson, as reported by Twitter roving correspondent Acyn…

It's hilarious that Tucker Carlson rushed out of the shower (without even drying his air) to deliver those lines in the most deadpan seriousness of "insurrection"
Can't even get them to pay attention to the real thing, FFS

Did the Colbert producers bring guns? Because according to Tucker: “Just to be clear on terms, an insurrection is when people with guns try to overthrow the government.” He can’t have it both ways.

Good point here ???
How does Triumph hold a flag pole to beat cops with?

Again, the push to describe everything as "insurrection" so when it's said by for example the Committee, it's dismissed out of hand by viewers.

Sometimes I really find it impossible even his dumbest viewers buy this nonsense

Reached for comment after his presser, Triumph had this to say:
“Carlson’s show will always make a cat laugh,” Triumph comments “but the CP arresting a bunch of comedy writers in a lame attempt to save their bacon after Loudermilk’s sedition survey?
That place is really going to the dogs.”
This should be the only way Trump should be quoted from now on:
Truly, all the major news outlets need to replace former guy’s voice with Mr. Serkis’. No reason why we can’t have an additional reason to laugh at the mango moron.
