Oh, this just keeps getting better and better. I’m not sure that NOAA has a graph that accurately shows the possible size of the Democratic Tsunami of 2026, and Trump knows it. And because he is now basically almost completely delusional and deranged, his desperation is showing up loud and clear.
Let’s take it one simple step at a time. It started with Traitor Tot calling his faithful toadie in one of the most thoroughly gerrymandered red states in the country, Gregg Abbott, to unconstitutionally redraw their congressional district maps to gift the GOP five extra seats to try to retain control of the House in 2026. Look, you don’t play this kind of desperation ball unless you already know something.
It didn’t work.
Gavin Newsom immediately stepped up to announce that the California legislature would temporarily suspend the nonpartisan redistricting commission’s maps and redraw the districts through 2030 to create an additional five Democratic seats to offset Texas’s chicanery. Better yet, he’s bringing the proposal before the California voters in a special election in November for their approval.
And now Diaper Donnie, who never learns, no matter how often he touches the hot stove, is apparently talking to GOP morons in Missouri and Indiana about redistricting their maps for 2026 in a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding. F*ck the PDB. If His Lowness bothered to read the newspapers, or listen to advisors, he’d already know that Illinois, New York, and New Jersey are waiting in the wings to undo any possible damage.
And now news is trickling out that El Pendejo Presidente is looking at washy to use executive fiat to declare the 2020 census invalid, with massive errors that require the census to be redone mid cycle. This totally ignores the fact that Traitor Tot was elected in 2024 on the gerrymandered 2020 maps!
But there has to be something that is drawing this kind of hysterical reaction from Il Douche, and it can’t be his reelection prospects in 2028. And thanks to Rachel Maddow, and current polling, we now know what it is.
In her A-Block tonight, Rachel unveiled a whole slew of polls taken in the last week, on a variety of issues, and it turns tout that as we speak, Traitor Tot is less popular than dog sh*t on your heel. For everything from dealing with the Ukraine war to dealing with Iran, from arresting illegal immigrants to tariffs, Trump averages an underwater mark from -12 to a staggering -55. In several categories The Pampers President is bumping up against the top of his most rabid base for support.
This is not good news, especially since after 2026, Traitor Tot will only have two years left to cement his legacy and doing it with a Democratic controlled congress will be impossible. Therefore, all bets are off, and full-blown authoritarianism is on the menu to stop the bleeding.
And it’s actually worse than he thinks. Midterms traditionally tend to go against the party in power. And worse yet, there is a solid 3-5% independent base out there whose sole political philosophy is to throw the bums out! and that minority has helped to turn many a minor loss into a debacle.
But now Emperor Numbus Nuttus is sh*t outta runway, and he’s sh*t out of friends. Traitor Tot is already a lame duck, and he’s pissing away his legacy. The voters who all thought that Kamala Harris was just too extreme in her promises, and voted to give FrankenTrump a second chance are revolting against his tariff and immigration policies.
And guess who’s backing The Mango Messiah every step of the way? The MAGA idiots who have been riding his coattails for the last ten years now. And now the bloom is off the rose. Everything he does is pissing people off, and they’re crucifying their representatives and Senators in town halls, and they have no response.
This is why Trump is so desperate. He should have just stayed home and played golf. His first term was a disaster, and it was only a bunch of half-wit morons who wanted to piss off libtards who got him a second chance. But now the entire country is sick of Trump, they’re sick of MAGA, and they’re sick of the Republicans who have cloistered him for so long. To be honest, I’m not sure that there’s anything that he can do, short of cancelling the 2026 midterms, which he can’t do, since the states run the elections, that will stop the deluge. This is no longer a political debate, it’s a referendum on one man, and that man is the most hated man in America. Here endeth the lesson.

Well, there was a report I saw somewhere that Drumpf is planning to stop mail-in balloting–by Executive Order if need be. (Some of the speculation comes from “suggestions” by Pootie himself that mail-in ballots aren’t secure, etc.)
I would hope that even Thomas and Alito would put the kibosh on any such nonsense since, as you noted, the STATES have authority over specifics about elections and voting procedures. I think the same article pointed out when Dems tried passing the John Lewis bill, GOPers went ballistic at the thought of “federal overreach” but now, they don’t seem to mind THEIR guy pulling an even more extreme bit of overreach.
A BILL passed by Congress is a LAW. An Executive Order is NOT.
