We are told two different stories about the incoming administration. One story is that it will be utter kakistocracy, oligarchy and sycophancy. The other story is that it will be a “golden age.” Maybe that means Trump will open up a McDonald’s franchise on the south lawn. That’s about as golden as his next regime will be. But not to hear MAGA tell the tale. Oh no, they have a wish list that Trump told them all about and they’re counting down the days to January 20, to see these wonderful things manifest and come true. Maybe we should go see some bookies and get odds laid on what can actually happen.
He can’t, in all logic, but I’m sure he’ll find a way. And remember 2017 to 2019, when the GOP had a unified government but they couldn’t govern. Basically what they did then was put all the eggs into the repeal of what Paul Ryan called “the nightmare that is Obamacare.” That fell apart in March, if memory serves. And what has come to replace it? Oh yes, Trump now “has a concept of a plan.” That’s a fine and wonderful thing, concepts of plans.
And this is what else is happing in the Party Of Family Values.

No reply to that so far. It will be intriguing to see what happens. Trump may yet become the next Hoover, or at least be as despised as Hoover was. And you notice that the mass deportations aren’t even on that list, and if Trump even attempts that he’ll drag down the GDP to the level of severe recession/depression, not to mention the different industries he’ll cripple, like agriculture and construction.
The trade war (or Golden Age Of Tariff Wealth, if you prefer) isn’t on the list either. Hey, if the Canadians decide to shut off the lights in different U.S. states, don’t say we didn’t warn you.
I think the one promise you can bank on is the release of the J6 “political prisoners.” After that, it’s going to be pretty much downhill. But there will be plenty of executive time and golf. That’s a certainty.
1. Gas will not go under $2.00 Oil executives have already stated they do not want to “drill, baby, drill”, because they want gas prices HIGHER.
2. Grocery prices will not come down due to corporate greed, they have already gone up from the threat of tariffs, and of course the deportations. Plus the felon says it’s hard to get them down.
3. Car insurance go down? HaHaHaHaHaHaHa…
4. Landlords will RAISE rent prices, even it all the deportations happen and they have a lot of vacancies, they will raise prices. That’s how it has always worked.
5. Home prices will go up because all of the undocumented construction workers will be gone and they will have to pay more to Americans to do the work, if they can find any who want to work. Plus tariffs on Canada will make lumber prices and other goods soar. Just the threat of tariffs will also do that.
6. Sub 3% is a dream that will never happen
7.8.9. He may be able to get this into his tax decrease for the wealthy but I doubt the gqp will allow it. They like us to pay for their tax decreases. Plus muskrat will tell him that they need the tax money to keep cutting our benefits or some nonsense.
10.11. He will do both of these by destroying Ukraine and Palestine and handing them to russia and israel. We will be the poorer for it. Shameful. He is an evil man.

He may tie this in with his tax cuts for the wealthy but it would be like the last time, it is really not a tax cut – it was a change in withholding so we had to pay in the next year if we didn’t change our withholding. I had to increase my withholding an extra $50/week to ensure I wasn’t paying in.
No matter what he does, muskrat and swampy will hurt us so much. He is going to deport the undocumented and Americans as well. He will do it by convincing them to leave as intact families. But he will claim victory and the magats will be rid of all of those awful “vermin”. It will destroy us as a people by raising costs and inflation and making us so horrible we will be shunned throughout the world. As will the vaccine deniers taking away vaccines and the closing of DoE. Everything he touches dies. Remember that Amerikka. We are on the way to a slow, agonizing death. But the magas got to own the libs, right?
I wonder how they’ll deal with their child crippled with polio, or who may die from the measles? Stupidity has a cost. Always has. Always will.
