This is how it always is. She makes the right noises, gets on the right side of the argument, and then when it comes down to voting, she does what Donald Trump wants her to do. Right now she’s got as much credibility as the boy who cried wolf.

I’m assuming that she’s doing this in order to try and convince Maine voters that she’s got the same moral compass they do and she’s going to vote in their best interests and in the best interests of the country — and not rubber stamp everything Trump wants. If they believe her and reelect her, they’re even dumber than the rest of us have been, thinking that this time it’s going to be different.
Frankly, I think it’s too little too late, but I could be wrong. All I can say is Susan Collins has shown us time and again who she is. We need to believe what we’ve seen.
