If there was an award given to the Most Oblivious Congressmember, we would have to name it after Steve King. Seriously. The man is not only a dyed in the wool racist, who says the quiet part out loud, he doesn’t even know why the part is supposed to be quiet. King just doesn’t get it at all.
He ran himself out of a seat in Congress a few years back by defending white nationalism as a good thing — which is no doubt how he saw it. “White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization – how did that language become offensive?” the eight-term GOP congressman said. “Why did I sit in classes teaching me about the merits of our history and our civilization?”
Why indeed? Now, if you thought that took the cake, you were wrong. This does. At least for the moment. We have no doubt that King can come up with other bon mots, just give him time.

This is crass and insensitive on steroids. There are also two schools of thought about what is preferable in life, to be born into a life with no hope, or not to be born at all. Frankly, I’m of the second school of thought, that it’s better not to be born at all then to be born into a terrible life. That’s just my personal opinion.
It’s not surprising that King found a way to turn the conversation to abortion. It had to be abortion or guns, right? Flip a coin.

Well, I never thought I’d share a similar thought with Steve King. I too have occasionally wondered what it would be like if he’d been an aborted baby.
Do these people not understand just how stupid that line of thought is? “How would you feel if your mother had aborted you?” Hmm. I guess I wouldn’t care because I wouldn’t be here having to deal with self-righteous, judgmental assholes like you. I mean, honestly, I’m by no means suicidal and I have absolutely no real thoughts about doing any kind of harm to myself but I do occasionally think that I might have preferred being aborted (or just miscarried). And all these forced-birthers? Well, I really do wish their mothers had aborted them, or just miscarried all the bastards.
“Better a slave than aborted.” Tell that to the enslaved woman who was forced into pregnancies only to see her child sold, raped, overworked, beaten and murdered. Tell that to enslaved women who miscarried on purpose so that their children could avoid their fate. Being black is beautiful but it’s not for the weak. These politicians need to stop coming for our ancestors.

If you could find your way around the bestiality clause in the Good Book, you could find your way into having them for your pleasure as well. That’s enough on this sorry, sad, sick, hypocrisy! because if you caused one of them to birth a light skinned “mulatto” you could sell them too. So a slave owner could have a few white children that he would love and the rest of his “offspring” he could sell. Take a lesson from history! I can think of a more appropriate use for that hoe?
