Yes, you read that correctly. RFK Jr is proud of the work Trump has done for young men. We would think it would be the other way around, as far as we can see from the polls. But perhaps we are not seeing the situation properly. Let’s take a look at Raw Story:
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. expressed gratitude for President Donald Trump’s alleged efforts to increase the sperm count of young men.
During an event on Monday to introduce the moms.gov maternal health website, Kennedy pointed to a “fertility crisis in this country right now.”
Wut? Fertility crisis? He can’t be serious. Wait a minute. He *is* serious. Why haven’t we heard about this? RFK Jr speaks loudly of his anti-vaxxing. Why isn’t he trying to whip the country into a frenzy about this fertility crisis? That’s how he works. And the MAHA unit should be talking about it, too.
“We just found out that we’ve dropped out at 1.57%,” he said. “The replacement rate is 2.1. 100 years ago, we were at 3.27, so more than double that we are today. We are approaching the cataclysmic rates that Japan and China are now experiencing, that is threatening their economy.”
“President Trump has directed my agency to find out the cause of the fertility crisis,” he continued. “I’ve tried to figure it out. The fertility crisis for women began in 2007. For men in 1970, men had twice the sperm count as our teenagers do today.”
Oooooookay then. At least he included women in a statistic. He seems to be forgetting that it takes two to tango. Or, he’s an arrogant white male thinking about men first, with women as an afterthought. They had twice the count. Even in this day and age, tracking something like this should have started a long time ago. Perhaps RFK Jr’s brainworm can see that far back into the past. And why am I being serious about this?
Kennedy called men’s sperm count “an existential crisis for our country.”
“We had a series of presidents that were trying to discourage childbirth and motherhood in this country,” he added. “We now have a president that is trying to encourage it, and I want to thank you again for your leadership.”
Oh, brother. Discouraging since when? In my years on this planet, there has never been anything said about such a thing. They’ve all stayed away from that subject, which is a wise choice. That’s something that’s very, very personal, and they did not try to do anything like that. There were, and are, things going on that are much more important. Trump’s leadership. Everyone can roll their eyes now.
See you soon!
Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that of all of the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
