You are living in an historical era, friends. Yes, it is one of those times about which the poet said, “There are decades when nothing happens and there are weeks when decades happen.” We are living in a day and age which will be the source of many doctoral theses and books, more than have already been written. Why? Because Trump is only getting worse.

Singing drill bits, dancing through shafts of darkness and light. This is Donald Trump’s mental landscape. And his followers are silent and clueless.
What will it take for America to wake up? Again, I quote the statistic that keeps me sane, Trump won by 1.5 percent. America is two countries now, with wildly different values and opinions about what is real.
The other America will be back in power soon, but I ask the larger question, again: Is America going to be more united in the future? Or, is this the legacy of the Trump years, that we’re just going to continue as a fragmented populace, warring with one another?
