Rep. Jamie Raskin is a true American hero, and how he still does his job – better than 95% of our other great representatives, is beyond me. I cannot fathom the pain of losing a son to suicide and then following it up with my own cancer diagnosis (all within four years) while still being one of the most effective Representatives of our time. Sarah (Wife) must be an amazing woman because as strong as Jamie may be, a good spouse is almost necessary.
Raskin carried all his pain and skills into a hearing that I missed – meaning lots of people missed, last week. He used that razor-sharp mind and utter intolerance of hypocrisy to hold the Republicans to the same standard as the Democrats, making things much easier. Indeed, if he ever found himself teaching a Master Class, it would be on using your pain and integrity to boldly stand up for what you believe.
He is on the never-to-be-damned-enough Republican Committee on the weaponization of government. Obviously, all Democrats have “insta-wiki” with examples in which Trump weaponized government against his “enemies.” But Raskin has a second level available to only the upper 5%.
I cannot prove, but I do believe, that – knowing that he had a committee meeting coming up with Jordan screaming about “weaponizing government,” Raskin took it upon himself, or told his staff, which is the same thing, to find something JORDAN did to weaponize government and, to make it art, dark art, Raskin wanted a very recent example. He found it:

Now, that is awesome, that is fancy, and that’s what happens when someone with that much talent decides to put his head and heart into doing the job itself instead of trying to play Twitter hero.
I want Leader Hakeem Jefferies to instruct every single Democrat to watch that exchange, absorb its effectiveness, and realize that it takes serious intelligence but also an extreme work ethic to come up with such powerful examples. They would do it.
Because Raskin isn’t “just” a genius legislator, he’s also a leader. And right now, I’d follow him through a MAGA parade (Hell).

Seems a little amazing to me, MR. Raskin, is just a regular man until he starts to use examples and hold idiots like Gym Jordan to the TRUTH … Most Republicans, Jordon at the top of the list, speak from a wad of notes in his hand or plastered on his desk, twisting everything Biden and the Democrats into some kind of ogres supreme …
It seems Jordan and others have nothing to do but investigate ancient history of Biden and others, never mind all the problems we face on a daily basis … Our retirement security, inflated costs for meds, availability of full Obstetrics care for women, because of all the fines and punishments provided by livid pronouncements by miss-guided Republicans that dare the clinics to even talk about abortion procedures, part of the huge animal in the closet, religion over common sense and Government …
Our employment levels have not been a lot better than now, our economy is struggling somewhat, but ONLY because of profit at any cost CEO’s and various money monsters, pushing Republican ideas and losers into offices at all levels …
Now, for the GOOD news, the fuse is lit under Trump’s behind, way out of his reach to quench it … Along comes Jamie Raskin, not a physical giant, but rather, a quick, fast on his feet and mind foreword on the team Democrats … He IS special and it is great entertainment to see him demolish the flap jaw Republicans that drone on and on about worthless gibberish, instead of fixes to what we, as the general public need fixed …
