I read an article that says Trump’s making late night rage calls to friends. I have no problem believing that first part – the part about calling up people to express rage over the many messes (piles of sh*t) he’s created and keeps stepping in. It’s the “friends” part I don’t believe. The man doesn’t have friends. He has people he uses and some of them know how to flatter/humor him enough that he thinks they are friends. However they are just people using him back. In any case it seems Trumpty-Dumpty’s late night moments of rage have included calling people up to complain. I have zero sympathy for them for having to listen. And pretend to care.
Raw Story has published an article about Trump facing what their headline calls a “Sobering Reality.” He feels there’s too much negative stuff being said/written about him by news outlets. Ok, so there has in fact been negative coverage. However not NEARLY as much or as negative as Trump and his administration deserve. Still, there’s some story (sometimes more than one) every day in the news that casts Trump as incompetent, a screwup, full of crap etc. This is after all a President, a freaking PRESIDENT who as I wrote yesterday daily PAINTS HIS FACE ORANGE. Somehow everyone including journalists and politicians never mention that fact. But it stands to reason someone who’d do THAT is messed up. And will mess up enough trying to be President that people will say and write less than flattering things.
So we have an increasingly butt-hurt Trumpty-Dumpty getting all worked up over his hurt fee-fees calling up people in the middle of the night to rage. The linked article cites Jonathan Lemire of The Atlantic. He’s spoke to more than one who say Trump is upset over things not going the way he’d said they’d go in Gaza and Ukraine. Grand “mass” deportation plans are mucked up. And of course SignalGate has knocked him off his game. He’s pretty pissed at Mike Waltz and the only reason Waltz hasn’t been fired is Trump doesn’t want to admit to the world he screwed up putting him in his job in the first place. But having a liberal reporters phone# in his cell phone has as I said truly pissed our Trumpty-Dumpty off.
According to a report from Jonathan Lemire at The Atlantic, the president is increasingly calling friends late at night to snarl about how things are going as he realizes the “sobering reality” he is now facing.
As Lemire points out, close aides to Trump admit that the president has been “knocked off his stride” as the “Signalgate” scandal put the White House in an awkward position combined with key Republicans balking at his tariff plans — both of which have left him furious with people who are supposed to be his allies.
Trump has long suffered from delusions of grandeur, thinking he was awesome. Or convincing himself that was the case when deep inside he knew he was anything but. That’s his curse he HATES admitting to himself but knocks him upside the head sometimes in the middle of the night – if he hadn’t been born rich to a father with a successful and large real estate empire he wouldn’t be jack. “Overcompensation” doesn’t begin to describe Donald J. Trump. But he is who he is and simply can’t admit he’s not perfect in every way and that every other human being should marvel at how perfect he is. And open criticism? Trump is the classic ‘Loves to dish it out but can’t take it’ type.
Well, for those on the receiving end of these phone calls as I said I have no sympathy. You’ve sucked up to the guy for some reason or another and this is a price you have to pay. Hell, I rather enjoy the thought of the recipients of these calls holding the phone away from their ear as he shouts and curses! Don’t you?
(Regarding the title, how about it DeNiro? Your portrayal of Jake Lamotta in Raging Bull was epic and you better than anyone could have fun at Trump’s expense promoting him as ‘Raging Bullshitter’ – and even toss in ‘with an ORANGE face’ for good measure)

I too have zero pity or empathy for the non-friends Trumpler calls during the night. I hope and pray that one of them is Li’l Lindsey Lickspittle down in South Carolina. I like the thought of Lindsey trying to hide himself under his teddy bears and other stuffed surrogates when the phone rings at 3 AM. But he has to answer, in hopes it might be for that invitation to go golfing with Donald (and watch him cheat his way to a win), that invitation that never comes.
He should call me. I’d be pleased to share with him how he could “improve” his game.

Yes, and all the sycophants must listen to him rail, what a tough life! Not like they didn’t choose to kiss up to him. Still, I love the idea that the blow back is getting under his skin. That’s my little 5 min. of schadenfreude.
I hope him and his “friends” never get another wink of sleep. Let him ponder the hell he has created. Let him realize that even if he could run a 3rd time, he’d have an ice cube;s chance in hell of getting elected. Let him hear the boo’s and jeers every time he gets in public.
