I wonder if it would be possible to spin a sci fi story, taking place in a strange land which has so many crazy elected officials who say untrue and dangerous things, that the only way peace can be maintained is for the moderators of the community bulletin board to play the adults in the room. This is a world where the librarian is in charge because the mayor is a lunatic. Think about that for just a second. We literally have lawmakers in Washington that cannot behave themselves responsibly in their communications with their constituents/cult followers that rule makers at Twitter and Facebook are the now the guardians of our safety, doing the job of the law makers. This cowardly new world gets stranger by the day.
Twitter just put a 12-hour block on Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s twitter feed. That was what they did to Trump before bouncing him two days later, just FYI, because she was telling the troops to mobilize. Business Insider:

Trump and his allies have lashed out at Georgia elections officials, namely Raffensperger and Gov. Brian Kemp, both Republicans, for refusing to help him overturn Biden’s win in the state.
On Saturday, Greene tweeted, and soon after deleted, as archived by ProPublica, a message that called for “all Americans,” and notably Trump supporters, to mobilize.
“I encourage all Americans, not just the 75 million people who voted for President Trump, to mobilize and make your voices heard in opposition to these attacks on our liberties,” she wrote Saturday in a tweet that was deleted about two hours after she sent it, according to ProPublica. […]
The suspension comes as the Federal Bureau of Investigation has warned of armed protests at state capitol buildings across the US and about the threat of further unrest in Washington, DC ahead of Inauguration Day.
This QAnon crackpot feels empowered to carry on in Trump’s tradition, but she may find out that her star rose quickly and it can also set quickly. If there is any state in the union where a backlash against crazies has occurred, it is Georgia. Greene isn’t a Republican — in the same manner that Brad Raffensperger, for example — she’s a Trumpist, and there is a difference. Her orange standard bearer went down in flames and she may follow him.
She won’t be around very long. At least i hope so. This is just insane.
She got in under the wire. I didn’t follow that race that much (and truth be known, I confuse her with Lauren Boebert all the time) but I don’t think she can build a political career on this idiocy. I think she’s just a chorus girl in the Trump follies and now that that show is folding, she’ll be looking for work in due time.
I cannot imagine she and the other Q nuts sustaining a daily routine, and actually doing their jobs. This is ridiculous. The onion come to life.

For what it’s worth, I did a search on this nut and found this on her Wiki page, regarding her election:
For starters, when she announce her run for the House, she did so in the 6th Congressional district but switched to the 14th after the 14th’s incumbent decided not to run for reelection. (Incidentally, the two districts are NOT adjacent; the 6th is centered around Roswell, GA, just to the north of Atlanta, while the 14th is in the northwest corner adjacent to the Alabama and Tennessee borders.)
Secondly, she only received 40% in the GOP primary and was forced into a runoff. She won just under 44,000 votes in that primary election out of nearly 109,000 votes cast. In the runoff, she got 57% of the vote but still got just under 44,000 votes (even shedding about 100 votes from the first go-round) as just under 77,000 GOP voters went back for the runoff.
Third, in the general election, she got just under 75% of the vote–against a Democratic candidate who’d withdrawn from the race nearly 2 months earlier.
so, how did she get away with changing districts, isn’t there a rule that you have to live in the district you represent?
Although I’ve seen pictures of the two that show they look quite different, since they spout their nonsense through a “bigly” gigantic megaphone where the opening the sound comes from is the mouth of an even “Yuger” pic of Trump it’s easy to confuse the two of them!

Twitter probably told her to take the tweet down in order to be reinstated after 12 hours. That was what happened when I posted “Who is the vapid bimbo standing behind Giuliani?” (It was Jenna Ellis). It amazed me that they thought that was worthy of blocking but let Trumpsters go on and on about lies they never refuted but merely said they were “disputed.” That’s lame. Anything can be “disputed.”
I wish they’d quite using the word “disputed” about their election claims. The correct word is LIES.
