This is very clever if you sit back and take the long view of it. Donald Trump has an Elon Musk problem. He said, “I can’t get rid of him,” in November and then that state of affairs carried on well into December. Musk was like that character in The Man Who Came To Dinner, where he ceased being a guest and became more of a permanent fixture. And then Donald said, “I’m safe,” because Musk wasn’t born in this country.
That set off all kinds of speculation as to what Trump meant. Many took that to mean that Trump had intentions of running again in 2028, which is the closet conspiracy theory we now live with. It’s closeted because it’s not being played up but let’s see what dialogue we’re having in 2026 or 2027, shall we? In all events, take a look at how Trump’s MAGA minions are railing at Musk and you decide what it means. It seems pretty obvious to me that Trump is having his underlings say things that he’s thinking but doesn’t want to say himself in order to poison the MAGA mind against Musk.

Musk’s reply is cut off but it’s a good one. He says, “Loomer is trolling for attention. Ignore.” She might not be trolling for attention, she might be following the orders of his Marmalade Master. Bear in mind, Loomer has not been named to some fine post in the upcoming Trump administration. Or to any post, for that matter. It stands to reason that if she’s trolling for attention, she’s trying to get the attention of her only reader that matters, which would be Trump himself. Or, I suppose this could all be coincidence but I don’t think so.
The MAGA’s are shocked, sad, and frankly, feel betrayed that Elon, after purchasing the presidency, would act in his own interests.

Now I’m going to give you my theory. The Associated Press is reporting that in a recent poll, four out of ten Americans view Elon Musk favorably — which is the exact number which view Trump favorably. And they may be the very same people. So, do you think that Trump is going to let a younger, richer, smarter man continue to ride his coattails to fame and MAGA popularity indefinitely? If you answer “yes” my next question will be what cave have you been living in since 2016, cut off from all knowledge of who and what Donald Trump is?
I think Trump has hit his limit. He got what he needed from Musk and I think he’ll double cross Musk and/or dump him. I don’t see it happening any other way.
And I am not alone in this. A lot of political strategists and people who know Trump personally, such as Michael Cohen and Anthony Scaramucci, say that when Musk makes a bad enough boo boo and embarrasses or threatens Trump in some manner, he will be gone.
I think you are seeing the foreshadowing of the demise of Musk happening now. I could be wrong. But bear in mind a few crucial facts: Musk and Ramaswamy serve at Trump’s pleasure. If DOGE sounds good and MAGA is lapping it up, then Trump has a use for these people. If, on the other hand, it becomes too evident how they are serving their own purposes and not necessarily Trump’s, then they’re going to get a tidal wave of bad (and totally deserved) publicity.
You are hearing the pre echoes of that right now.

Musk and anyone else vying for Trumpler’s favor should read some history of ol’ Adolf’s 3rd Reich, before WW2. Specifically, the fate of one Ernst Rohm, honcho of the SA, the fabled Brownshirts, a private army of Nazi thugs who terrorized and attacked Hitler’s political foes (Communists particularly). Once Hitler was installed as Chancellor, the German equivalent of ruler, he instigated The Night of the Long Knives: the SA leadership was arrested and/or killed and Rohm was murdered in prison by the SS. Rohm’s crime? He lusted after power too much for Hitler’s liking. There was room for only one Fuhrer in Germany.
