So is he taking lessons from Krispi, or is it the other way around? His latest shenanigan from Sunday has been called out by multiple people. He was fluffing himself up to ‘prove’ something we really don’t care about. Nice fake, Petey. He’s been busted. Trump’s ‘cabinet’ all ends up that way. Thank you, Raw Story:

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s latest workout video was roasted by observers on Sunday. Hegseth posted a video of himself lifting weights with military troops on Saturday, in which it appeared the Defense Secretary was bench pressing 315 pounds. Hegseth can be seen screaming and yelling alongside troops as he re-racked the weights after doing a single rep.

Y’know, he does well at making a fool of himself. He doesn’t need to carry on like that. Just lift weights, joke around with the military, and go home. Once does not count. Maybe he’s trying to go for matching not just his own weight, but his ego, too. He has to prove he’s a manly man, just like he wants for all the military. But it should only be for guys, because women are weak or some such nonsense. At least he won’t have to make *them* shave.

Observers roasted the video on social media on Sunday, with some pointing out that Hegseth’s form and the way the weights moved on the rack suggest that he was not benching 315 pounds as he claimed. Others described it as an example of the “beta behavior” that Hegseth has said he wants to root out in the military. //// “This is one of the most pathetic things I’ve seen in my life,” Bentley Hudgins, Georgia state director for the Human Rights Campaign, posted on X. “Even with his station, Pete acts like an insecure child. Actual beta behavior.”

Y’know, that’s a better description than any of us have come up with to this point. Insecure child. Hegseth does like to yell, scream, puff out his chest, and make people think he’s an idiot. Oh, wait. He *is* an idiot. Never mind that bit. He’s certainly not the Secretary of Defense, or Secretary of War, that he likes to crow about. He’s a Fox News host pretending he’s the Secretary of Defense. The thought of this yahoo leading our troops if we get into a war with Iran (which I am fervently hoping does not happen) is terrifying.

“Of all the things that never happened this never happened the most,” internet personality Chris Mowrey posted on X. //// “This is total bulls— and the fact that people think it isn’t is f—— mind blowing,” Michael A. Gayed, CFA, a portfolio manager, posted on X. //// “This video is fake. Pete Hegseth cannot bench 315,” political strategist Sawyer Hackett posted on X. //// (And my favorite) “As a Marine, I learned to put mission first and focus on winning our nation’s wars,” military veteran Maura C. Sullivan posted on X.”If @SecWar wants to be a third-rate fitness influencer, he should go do that — and let a qualified adult run the Pentagon.”

Oh, yes, a qualified adult. None of Trump’s cabinet or Trump himself is a qualified adult. They’re gloryhounds, trying to get in the news and stay in the news for all these things they didn’t actually do. Yes, they’re in the news, but not for good reasons, for bad ones. Trump’s tariffs and ICE are two examples that come to mind immediately, but there are definitely many more. No good actions come to mind, so if you have one, please share! So Hegseth is back in the news for stupidity. He must have gotten lonely. See you soon!

Friends, I know everyone begs you for money. I promise that among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a group of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the chance to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula

  1. The Trump Regime definition.

A bunch of Betas trying to act like Alphas.

Or act like they think Alphas act.

    Because they really don’t know.
