Holy cow, his “thing” for Harvard just never stops! He keeps trying to force them into doing his bidding, and they aren’t playing that game. Freeze our funding? Okay, we’ll figure out another way to get the money. Stop anything DEI-related? No. Give you information about our foreign students? No. Change things to what you want? No.
So, here’s the latest salvo. The Trump administration is investigating Harvard University and the Harvard Law Review after a report of alleged race-based discrimination at the legal journal. Good GRIEF. I hope that “whistleblower” got really well paid for that piece of nonsense. I’ll bet someone who is NOT from Harvard went to tRump’s staff with the race-based allegation. I *seriously* doubt it’s true. If they are pushing back on DEI, wouldn’t they be aware of such possibilities?
I do *not* understand why Agent Orange has it in for Harvard. The school had to have seen the other places that caved. So they did all the bullsh*t for tRump and didn’t get the money back. Instead, they are in a worse position than they were before. If I were thinking about going back to school, I certainly wouldn’t go to one of the ones that caved. Is money more important? Yea no.
I’m pretty sure other schools are following Harvard’s example and are also offering support. The Mango Mandarin Messiah should *not* be telling schools what they can and cannot do. It’s none of his business. They have chosen what they want to teach on a wide variety of subjects, so students have a variety of classes and majors to them. Students have a right to make their *own* choices. But everyone at the school will learn from a wide, different choice of subjects. If you don’t want a class, don’t take it. It’s that simple.
Harvard has sued the tRump administration, challenging the legality of the money freeze. They’re coming back harder. They’re not giving up. Personally, I’m following this closely, because I love seeing someone tell the Pampers President “No”. Anyhow, here are some details from CNBC.
The probes were announced three days after The Washington Free Beacon, a conservative news site, published an article under the headline “Exclusive: Internal Documents Reveal Pervasive Pattern of Racial Discrimination at Harvard Law Review.”
The article, citing what it said were internal documents at the Harvard Law Review that spanned more than four years, said those documents “reveal a pattern of pervasive race discrimination at the nation’s top law journal and threaten to plunge Harvard, already at war with the federal government, into even deeper crisis.”
The article claimed that “just over half of journal members … are admitted solely based on academic performance.” “The rest are chosen by a ‘holistic review committee’ that has made the inclusion of ‘underrepresented groups’—defined to include race, gender identity, and sexual orientation—its ‘first priority,’ according to the resolution passed in 2021,” the article said.
The Free Beacon also said that the Law Review has “incorporated race into nearly every stage of its article selection process,” and that “editors routinely kill or advance pieces based in part on the race of the author.”
Get OUTTA here! This is a *law* review process. They study *law*. So, how in the h*ll could they overlook something like this? What is the *proof*? Good grief! It’s just a theory but it fits facts we know. Trump started college at Fordham up in NY. He of course wanted an Ivy League diploma but didn’t qualify for any of them despite having (allegedly) someone take his SATs for him. To my knowledge he’s never released the actual scores he was awarded but if he paid someone I suspect they are pretty good. Perhaps not truly top level but pretty damned good. Alas there’s more that goes into it. Maybe his dad tried to get him into Harvard and maybe not. Penn is Ivy League and deservedly so. It’s Wharton School of Business is renowned and an MBA from it is as good as any university’s in the world. Trump’s pops it seems found palms at Penn willing to be greased to allow him admission to Penn as an undergrad. He does have a Bachelor’s degree from them and yes, took undergrad courses from it’s Wharton School of Business but despite what Trump tried to imply for a while he doesn’t have a “Wharton Degree” as in that coveted MBA.
Fast forward, and Trumpty’s sick obsession with fucking his own daughter Ivanka. Alas, she seems to have avoided that awful event and wound up married to Jared Kushner. Who’s daddy DID get HIM into Harvard. Perhaps recently someone mentioned Ivanka’s clearly keeping her distance from Trump 2.0 and Jared too. He sold what he got in intel and who knows what else to Saudis and others for billions. Jarvanka, having been rejected in attempts to rejoin NYC’s circle of ascending (to Masters of the City) “beautiful people” and gotten a pretty cold shoulder from the south FL version have chosen to live a very quiet and private life. Maybe someone showed him a picture of his onetime obsession Ivanka in a swimsuit next to Jared. And the man who PAINTS HIS FACE ORANGE turned green with jealousy. Then, somewhere on one of the tiny bits of turd where his brain should be he remembered Jared went to Harvard! And some other bit collided with it as he lurched around and he recalled onetime wannabe Princess Ivanka hitting him with “Jared went to HARVARD!” to get him to back off when he tried to convince her she should dump her hubby and come “stay” with him. So HE could “look after” her.
Put all that together and it could explain Trumpty’s sudden animus for Harvard. JARED, the guy who gets to screw the woman he’s been so obsessed with “nailing” when HE never got to and taking down Jared’s alma mater so he can lord it over the one gal he sooooooo wanted and never got to fuck and this all makes sense. Well, it’s a theory that as I said fits the facts as we know them…

The plot thickens. This is from an article in the NYT, April 22, “Some HArvard Donors Still Want to Strike a Deal with Trump” :
“But the Harvard Corporation is, in many ways, an unwitting hero. For weeks leading up to the April 11 letter, the corporation took a very different stance toward the Trump administration. At the urging of some of its biggest donors, the corporation frantically tried to cut a deal with Mr. Trump. — Harvard hired the same lawyer that the law firm Paul Weiss used to make its deal with Mr. Trump. Over the past month, as it became clear that Mr. Trump was ratcheting up pressure on Harvard, the school’s president, Dr. Alan Garber, looked for other ways into the White House — including a potential meeting with Mr. Trump himself, according to three people briefed on the matter. In late March, he called Jared Kushner, a Harvard alumnus and the president’s son-in-law, to ask for help. Mr. Kushner said he could not help. — Dr. Garber, a lifetime academic with economics and medical degrees, has met with donors including John Paulson, the billionaire hedge fund manager who had been on a short list to become Mr. Trump’s Treasury secretary. He asked Mr. Paulson to help broker a meeting with President Trump. The meeting never happened, the people said. — Even now, some of Harvard’s most influential donors, including Mr. Paulson and William A. Ackman, the chief executive of the hedge fund Pershing Square, believe it is a mistake to fight with the president, according to people who have been briefed on their opinions.”
