Well, we know who is going to get blasted on Truth Social and at the next Trump rally and that is New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu. Boy, is he in trouble. MAGA will be sticking pins in Sununu dolls by noon, mark my words. Sununu disemboweled Trump’s speech in Erie, Pennsylvania last night, saying that Donald Trump “didn’t have the energy, he didn’t have the fastball.” Nope. Trump’s a has-been, in other words.

And Sununu is right, the self-centeredness of the speech, of all of Trump’s speeches, simply proves that he’s in this for himself and not the country. He did do nothing but drone on about his personal vendettas and his legal battles. Plus, his PAC has spent $40 million on legal fees, not on a ground game, not on advertising, not on videos, nada. It’s all going to legal fees.
Now Trump didn’t spend money on those things in 2016, either, but he rode his unconventionality into office. He was something original in 2016. That was his high card and he has totally lost that. The country is saturated with Trump and his woes and his four years in office were a disaster, to use one of his 200 vocabulary words to describe the experience.
I think it’s interesting that Sununu didn’t mention Mr. DeSantis except in passing after two or three other candidates. That’s noteworthy because the candidates for president are waiting for Sununu’s endorsement and since the man didn’t even mention DeSantis here — except as being in the same sentence as Bergum and Ramiswamy — I’m tending to think that maybe that’s telegraphing that DeSantis is not his man.
And on the other side of the reality spectrum, a Trump troll sent me an article from DC Enquirer (owned by Dinesh D’Souza, need I say more?) with the headline that Trump played to a “massive crowd” in Erie last night, a “bigger crowd than KISS or Cher ever got.”
Just throwing this in here to let you know that the central problem in this country right now is that there are two versions of reality out there and the kool-aide drinkers do not live in the same world as you and me.
The Orange freak from Southern Florida, apparently, cannot, or simply won’t stop incriminating himself on a daily basis …
His massive brain power, seems to get in the way of simply reading and accepting forms for what is written in them, including his own name in various ways …
He continues to lumpsum his accusations as their own disaster and despicable issues of Mr. Smith, whom he has blasted in earthy language, BUT NOW, slipping to a slam against a sitting President of the United States, coupled with the creeping Republican, “Possible Impeachment of Biden”, from the stupid House Republicans, who have no plan for the safe and secure future of our Country, make me have another vision of red-hatted freaks barging into the White House lawn, dropping like flies in Black Flag sprays, “Men with machine guns on rooftop shooting fish in a barrel” …
Apparently there REALLY ARE mindless morans lined up to vote for Trump, RNC seems to forward large sums of cash, (40 million dollars), to save Trump from prison, while Trump, himself, continues to harass the court system, the FBI and anyone fool enough to reveal Trump’s REAL reasons to do what he does best … NOTHING …
Thump’s home away from home, one with many doors, cannot happen soon enough …
My guess is that Sununu will hold off as long as he can, and if Trump doesn’t have “bigly” support in NH by the holidays, if his numbers there are soft Chris will endorse another dude named Chris. Christie! Trump might still win in NH but Christie doesn’t even have to come close to Trump’s vote. Trump getting 50% or less in a crowded field with Christie in second or a very close to second place third when all is said and done will have Trump gushing blood into shark infested waters.
Sure hope you’re right, Christie at least looks like a sane person not infected with the trump disease
Cher or KISS. That is a very interesting comparison the MAGAt used. I love Cher and KISS but they are no spring chickens along with their fan base. Also, my guess is most fans are LBGTQ+ or supporters there of. I have no idea what crowd size they draw these days but my hunch is a lot more than this dumpster fire.
