I swear to God I don’t know how the GOP does it, but they are a lightning rod for abject morons who want to enter the political field. This is not a new occurrence. This has been the case for quite some time. But the level of idiocy has dropped to such a place where Louie Gohmert no longer holds the title Stupidest Member of the House, nor Ron Paul for Stupidest Senator. They have plenty of competition for these accolades.
Right now, Marjorie Taylor Greene is going to knock Gohmert clean out of the running. Even the man who wants to knock the moon out of its orbit in order to assist climate change is going to have trouble beating this.

What is wrong with our leaders that they should want such a thing? What is wrong with us for even dreaming of such a world? Don’t we know that ours is supposed to be a dreary lot, that living a life of quiet desperation is the best that a person can ever hope to achieve?
