This is wonderful. Not only is Mike Lindell running for RNC Chair, he’s starting a religious war as well. With the State of Utah, no less.
What’s that you say? What does a Minnesota crackhead know about goings on in the Beehive State? We don’t know, but Lindell sure kicked the hornet’s nest on this one. Mike Lee wants to take all “sexual images” off the internet and now he’s got this clown to contend with, telling him Utah is the most corrupt state in the Union?
I thought Illinois took the prize for corruption. Didn’t they have two former governors in the slammer at the same time, once? Maybe Murfster knows, he’s a Chicago boy.
Lindell’s show went off the rails tonight when the host said the FBI & Secret Service used to hire mostly Mormons because they were clean, ethical, patriotic guys, and it’s gone downhill since. Lindell gets pissed and says Utah has more corruption than all other states combined.” pic.twitter.com/KCdJGtkdSX

I, for one, can’t wait until Lindell is calling the shots at the RNC. Do you suppose he and Ronna would debate? Oh, dear God, please, let them debate. There’s not enough popcorn in America for that one.
I hope Mike and his sidekick do one of these a day. They can hate the Mormons on Tuesday, tomorrow would be a great day to hate the Muslims, we can fit the Catholics in on Thursday, the Jews on Friday, so on and so forth.
Lindell could be the anti-Pat Robertson, just preaching about the corruption of religion.
This could work. I hope to see more of this.
What was the name of that fellow, a couple of thousand years ago, who preached love and tolerance? Oh, never mind.

I take it that Michilin Og hasn’t looked round Florida recently
(for those who don’t get it, think of the initial meeting between John Wayne and Barry Fitzgerald in ‘The Quiet Man’)
Good one. Of course the horse knew the way to the pub. Maybe we should allow horses to vote.
So the GQP has a choice between McDaniel (total failure) and Lindell (total nut job) to head the RNC? How sad and pathetic.
Illinois resident here and yes, we had two former governors (one R and one D) serving concurrent prison sentences. In fact, at one point, 4 of the previous 8 governors went to prison after their stint in Springfield. That makes the conviction rate for Illinois governors 50%.
Given that the conviction rate for murder is about 48%, you stand a better chance of going to prison for being governor of Illinois than for killing someone.
That’s both funny and frightening!
Fun with facts. Love it!
As a Mormon, I can testify that in the USA, at least, there is a disproportionately far right wing that is as misguided as any group professing to be Christian can be. The church leaders, compared to some of these are off-the-wall liberals. W have Ezra Taft Benson and his family’s flirtation with John Birch to thank for that, as well as a very kind leader in the 50s-60s, David O. McKay, who let Benson get away with preaching anti-communisl and Birchism at church conferences rather than the teaching of Christ, and so it goes. When Benson was president, he quieted down and never mentioned those things, but in the minds of too many, these thoughts were implanted and could not be weeded out. Former Utah columnist referred to them as Mormon-nazis. Well . . . One thing is clear, they have certainly learned to compartmentalize their politics and their religion, prioritizing every time, their politics over their religion when it comes to conflicts with the actual teaching of Jesus Christ. I know. As a lifetime democrat, I have seen the kind of venom some spout whenever a known democrat is called to a church leadership position. And I can tell you a lot of unkind things were said about Deiter Uctdorf, a German-born apostle and former counsellor in the first presidency, (not to mention a former pilot and executive of Lufthansa), when it was discovered that he had made contributions to national and state candidates for political offices during 2020 and 2022. But then, he knows what it’s like to actually LIVE under authoritarian regimes.
Love God with all your heart, mind and soul. Love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus is reported to have claimed these were the greatest commandments and the fulfillment of the Jewish law and prophets. Although one can discuss the definitions of God, heart, mind, neighbor, and self, and SHOULD, it’s weird how few ‘christians’ and jews follow that teaching. What else could he say? He made it plain as day that Love starts each commandment.
