Is there a village in Utah which is missing its idiot? This is a truly gobsmacking moment. I thought, when I stumbled on this on Twitter, that this had to be a parody account. So I went over to Mike Lee’s account and there it is, as big as life. This is real. Evidently the GOP thinks that life and government is all a reality TV show, har de har har. Did all the serious people in the Republican party just up and die one night and this is what’s left?
Thanks for willingness to speak truth in spite of opposition! Can we expect to see @catturd2 running for president in 2028? https://t.co/QvtHNP2t5P

I’m still wondering if somebody got hold of Lee’s phone and his account and he doesn’t know about this. This is too bizarro world.
Here’s where I found it, and the reaction in that thread.
This is the 2023 Republican Party. Whiners on social media, nut jobs in Congress. pic.twitter.com/UMxVwRIruQ

Let’s regroup here, shall we? We have a sitting senator, the senior senator from the State of Utah, in fact, and he is suggesting that a right-wing Twitter troll would be a viable presidential candidate in the year 2028. Are you seeing the same thing that I am, or am I hallucinating?

I think if tweeting is that taxing for you, probably a presidential campaign isn’t in your future.

*Man who spends his days whining on Twitter, which no one but him asks for, whines that he doesn't get paid to do it.*
Mike Lee: Now that's a statesman!
I'll never forgive Utah for not dumping this treasonous bit of trash.

What happened to the Republican party? Anybody?
Or, is Mike Lee so depressed with the direction he sees his party going, that he figures screw it, go publicly insane on Twitter and make an ass out of himself, why not? What difference does it make?
