We know Donald Trump thinks he can shove anything he wants down the MAGAs’ throats and they will just play along. But he may have overestimated his pull in Michigan. Betsy DeVos called Trump recently and begged him to endorse Tudor Dixon. He did and that left MAGA candidates swinging in the breeze.
Ryan Kelley was begging Trump for his endorsement and his children were begging as well. Kelley was arrested by the FBI on misdemeanor charges related to the January 6 capitol riot. Last month, Kelley pleaded not guilty to the charges, saying he was only engaged in “First Amendment activity.” That fact, plus the fact that Kelly is an election denier, he thought would get him Trump’s endorsement. Wrong. DeVos prevailed. Dixon has Trump’s endorsement.
And that was too much for a MAGA whack-a-mole, apparently. From Fox17 West Michigan.
We’re wrong to laugh about the fact that Trump endorses an actual conservative and his MAGA base is threatening to burn everything and kill people? And it’s reported here that this MAGA, or someone connected with this story, said he wanted to “enslave” women. That’s normal and healthy, right?
Trump can’t have his cake and eat it, too. He either has to go full MAGA and endorse all the crazies, or he has to actually parse through candidates’ platforms and decide who is best. And that is not in him. This is all a grift and a scam. All that is in Trump’s mind at any given moment is to do something or pick somebody that will bring him attention, notice, and then as a result, money. That’s it. He has no higher goals and he absolutely has no loyalty to the Republican party. Never has had.
Other GOPers have been team players, Bob Dole comes to mind, but not Trump. The GOP as an institution means nothing to him. It is merely the springboard by which he’s been able to grift and wreak havoc.
Let’s see how much longer this unholy alliance holds up. It seems to be showing signs of great wear and tear.

Based on that statement issued by the MI GQP, they are blaming the “opposite party”, which one would assume is the Dems. The Dems need to get out front of this and explain if they are receiving threats, it’s coming from the MAGAt wing of the GQP.
I was shocked Trump endorsed a what these days passes for sort of sane Republican instead of a foaming at the mouth MAGA. It didn’t make sense, until I considered it was DeVoss pushing him. Never forget who her lil brother is – none other than Erik Prince. Yes, THAT Erik Prince and Trump has to have been considering his options as the walls keep closing in on him. Specifically, a wee hours of the morning boat ride from the beach at Mar A Lago in a Spec Ops type craft to get him out beyond the 12 mile limit, and from there helicoptered to a series of yachts out in the Atlantic that would get him to a non-extradition country. Prince has the resources including network of contacts to call on to pull off a stunt like that.
I for one can see Devoss holding that card over Trump’s head to force him to endorse HER pick in MI. Because I believe if that motherfucker comes to the point where he believes they will be coming with an arrest warrant he’ll run like a rabbit.
Or, he could be counting on Prince to marshal his resources for a good old fashioned civil war on the home front if he’s finally indicted and sent to prison. I have no doubt for in for some bloodshed when/if the hammer finally comes down on these traitors.

The ATF had another agent in the other car. After firing into the group, which included children, the nazis/Klan loaded their weapons into the trunk & sped away. The killers were acquitted by all white juries. The group sued & won, exposing deep police involvement knowing what the nazis & Klan had planned & did nothing to stop it. The time for being ‘nice’ has been long past. Time to get fighting mad! This is a war for freedom on our home soil.
