Master Of Horror Stephen King Calls Trump ‘Chickens*it’ Asks Him To Resign

The idea of an autocratic sociopath getting elected POTUS is nothing new to Stephen King. He wrote the book on it, in his 1979 novel, “Dead Zone.” Some 40 years later, King has lived, as have we all, to see a version of his Greg Stillson character actually dwelling  in the White House. As you may recall in the movie, a cowardly Stillson uses a baby as a human shield when threatened by an assassin while onstage at a rally. The Stillson character is a conniving populist politician who is also a bombastic, pathetic coward. King comments on the real life version of his fictional monster.

Dead Zone is quite the compelling supernatural yarn, but it’s not as strange as the Trump presidency. This is the real horror show.
