Terrific. Mary Trump has decided to chime in from her vantage point as a relative to the world’s most dangerous man and also a clinical psychologist. Many psychologists will tell you that people go into psychology because they come from screwed up families and they seek to understand that problem and in Mary Trump’s case we can believe it.
This makes sense that Melania is unspeakably tone deaf. She is literally asking women who have been to Hell and back both with the experience of being trafficked and then with the experience of coming forth about it, to do more — as if they have not done enough. That is unspeakably cruel and the women in question quietly opined as much after Melania’s statement.
Melania’s statement was self serving as it was baffling. It’s a bit inconceivable that she made the address without her husband knowing but that is what has filtered down over the past few days, so we should believe it, unbelievable as it is.
It’s also unbelievable that the emails between Ghislaine Maxwell and Melania were as casual as she portrayed. The emails end, “love, Melania,” and that’s not how most people address a truly casual email, to the gardener, let’s suppose.
The lady protesteth too much me thinks. I suppose that in future days more will come out about what really transpired to cause the speech, other than the obvious, which is that Melania is in litigation with journalist Michael Wolff and she’s trying to control the narrative before Wolff reveals something damaging about her. That is the best speculation that anybody has come up with so far.
Andrew Lownie (UK author) put out a new book on Epstein / Andrew / Fergie. Melania is also mentioned as having sex with Epstein a year before trump. She’s trying to cover her a**. Too late.
Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

How Melania must loathe and detest Donald by now. All she wanted (and what she had) was a quiet life of luxury in NYC, in which her only duty was to be arm candy and occasional sex provider for the narcissistic manchild she had married. Then the egotistical buffoon went into politics, blustered and bullied his way into the White House and utterly ruined the life she had so cherished. There’s no privacy in politics, as she’s learned, and those skeletons in her closet are bound to be uncovered. Epstein’s ghost will see to that.
