I wonder how many, let’s be polite and call them immigrants, her family’s construction biz uses? I can’t imagine there are more people young and strong enough to do construction that want to do it over her way any more than there are over here.
I’ve spent a lot of time on construction sites over the years and I hear a lot of different languages. More to the point I also see a lot of hustle–these folks work their asses off. Looks like yet another industry that got tired of waiting for young people to want to work in the construction trades. I’ve seen contractors over this way close their doors over their inability to get workers and I imagine things are worse in 2022.
