Jewish Insider’s Marc Rod reports that Marco Rubio, upon returning to Washington from Thanksgiving break, had some harsh name-calling at the ready for drumpf’s two Mar-A-Lardo anti-Semitic dinner guests. But Rubio, as a he typically does, accredited no agency to the Orangeutan in the wrongdoing, suggesting the two just magically appeared at his table:

“Republican senators emerged in force on Monday to condemn former President Donald Trump’s meeting last week with white nationalist Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes and rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, who has repeatedly made antisemitic comments in recent months.

Peppered with questions on the subject by reporters as they returned from the Thanksgiving recess, Republican senators broadly disavowed West and Fuentes and criticized the former president for having hosted the duo. Prior to Monday night’s barrage of in-person questioning, few GOP lawmakers had spoken up about the meeting, which took place last week…

… Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) called West “disturbed” and in need of “help,” and Fuentes “evil” and an “assclown.”
“Trump shouldn’t have met with [Fuentes] because it gives legitimacy to a guy who’s a purveyor and a spreader of an evil ideology,” Rubio continued. “He’s an evil guy and shouldn’t be legitimized by allowing him to come into places like that and meet someone like a former and maybe future president.”

Asked by Jewish Insider what it said about Trump that he had apparently welcomed West to dinner, Rubio said, “I have no idea how those people got into that building.” Rubio added later that he hopes Trump condemns Fuentes.”

It’s a puzzlement for sure, Marco.

On Twitter, Mr. Rod’s followers proposed various theories as to how the breech happened:

  1. Not only did they get past the Secret Service but also Don John’s own security/bodyguards/whatever (and none of those checked them out and/or forgot to tell the orange wonder who they were)

    • As I mentioned in another article, it’s really not the Secret Service’s job to keep out people who have unpopular (to say the least) opinions UNLESS said people also have the potential to do actual PHYSICAL harm to the Service’s charges.

I really don’t get why people seem to think the Secret Service acts as social secretaries.

      • It’s also worth remembering that the Secret Service has been in a steady decline ever since it was moved from Treasury to Homeland Security when that particular cluster-fuck was created. Things got appreciably worse when Trump came along and as the J6 Committee has shown he had fans in that outfit. No doubt loyalists from Trump’s time volunteered to be on his post Presidential detail. And if not outright fans of assholes like those dinner guests then at least quite appreciative of their lifestyle these days to not make any suggestions that it might look bad when word got out about the dinner. (As they knew it would) The bottom line is that if Trump told them to let someone come for a visit they’d let that person show up.
