Ohhhhh, h0 h0 h0. Anything that freaks out MAGA has got to be good. Apparently, the party that Grindr threw was an absolute monster and a major success. The bonus is that it was held in DC, which flipped out MAGA just because of the location. And the fact that it was a Grindr party is an absolute bonus! If I had been there, I would have tried to go, cane or not, just to be able to thumb my nose at the bigots. We should be hearing flailing from some people in Congress any time now, but back to the fun part, back to the party. My regards to Raw Story:
A party hosted by gay dating app Grindr was attended by DC elite Friday night, and the president’s own team expressed an interest, causing the MAGA base to recoil. Grindr’s exclusive party during White House Correspondents’ Dinner weekend reportedly drew interest from the highest levels of government—including members of President Donald Trump’s own administration—triggering fury among the Trump’s faithful fans.
Let us sit here and applaud that Grindr freaked out MAGA. They deserve to be punched in the nose every so often. Besides, it makes us laugh. Since it was hosted by Grindr, you know it had to be one helluva party! We can bet that any party they threw would be great, because that’s how people are in that world. They are a lot nicer and a lot more fun than most straight people I know. They’re comfortable and happy with the way they are. You have to know that Trump absolutely positively hates them. And look at all the laws he’s trying to put in place against them.
Joe Hack, Grindr’s head of global government affairs, revealed on “TMZ Live” that he had spoken with Trump administration officials who were interested in attending—though he declined to disclose their identities. “I’ve talked to people in the admin who are interested, but I’m keeping their identities to myself,” Hack said before the event, suggesting the guest list includes Republican insiders eager to party despite the controversy. The party itself has sparked outrage among Trump’s most fervent supporters on social media, with prominent figures drawing a hard line on the event’s significance.
Ahahaha! Yes, please do freak out the hard right. Freak out, MAGA. Let’s watch (potentially) heads roll. That was great of Mr. Hack not revealing identities. With all that’s going on these days, it’s nice to hear from someone who has actual morals. DC Insiders surprised me by wanting to go to this. They must have had one hell of a venue to fit what we can assume for this thing. Everyone and anyone wanting to go? Yikes! Now we get to the fun part.
Conservative journalist Tara Palmeri captured the moment with a photo of the line at the door and a simple but pointed message: “This is the line for the Grindr party in Trump’s Washington.” //// Laura Loomer, a Trump ally and political activist, posted a response: “Yah is everyone just now finding out that most of the men in DC are closeted homosexuals?” //// MAGA account Oilfield Rando also chimed in, “All the dudes in DC are gay,” while another MAGA influencer, Lucky Teter, joked, “Lindsey Graham has been summoned.” //// The Grindr party represents a stark contradiction within Trump’s coalition: while the administration and conservative media have positioned themselves as cultural warriors opposing LGBTQ+ activism, top Republican officials appear willing to attend exclusive private events that contradict that public posture.
Ahahahaha again! Lucky Teter beat me to the Lindsey Graham joke. But Laura Looker, of all people, saying that line had me half bent over with laughter. Those comments were great! It’s certainly something I can’t recall seeing in DC anymore. And I hope the National Guard was finally able to go home. It was stupid to call them in in the first place. Trash duty is an insult to them. But I will be giggling for a while over this whole thing, and I hope you will, too.
See you soon!
Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that of all of the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
