On today’s edition of “CNN Newsroom” former Georgia Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan says nominating Trump next year might feel good in the moment but could be regretted later:
“Nominating Trump is a lot like peeing in your pants. It’s gonna feel good for a couple of seconds, but then you wake up and realize the reality of what you just did.”
Duncan was one of the very few Republican office holders who refused to go along with Trump’s big lie, and openly rebuked the Orangeutan after the election and chose not to run again himself in 2022 after incurring the dotard’s wrath.
Must have felt good to get a little payback.
