You can’t make this sh*t up. There is something mentally wrong with this guy, even to suggest such a thing. It’s disgusting. It’s infuriating. What the hell is a sick person like this doing in Congress? He belongs somewhere far, far away, preferably an asylum or something similar. And he’s from my home state!!! His area is next to mine. It starts about 4 miles away. Yuck. You have been warned about him. Seriously. Recognition to Raw Story for the article I’m using:

Rep. Clay Fuller (R-GA) suggested that former Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) should face execution if he is found guilty of misconduct while in office.

In a Monday interview, MAGA influencer Benny Johnson noted that Fuller had taken over former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) seat as two lawmakersSwalwell and former Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-FL) — had resigned amid misconduct allegations.

“Well, and that was one of my first legislative priorities, and that’s something that I’m currently working on, is to hold bad actors accountable in Congress,” Fuller stated.

Execute Swalwell. What the actual FUCK. Note, he said nothing about Gonzalez, who is a Republican, too. This is absolutely repulsive, especially coming from someone just coming into Congress. Damn, but I wish our guy had won (he did really well even though he lost). What the hail kind of idea is *that*? This is not the 1800s or even the 1900s! (Now you see why this has to be done as a Late Night.)

“I want to see people in jail,” Fuller replied. “And the thing is, we need targeted, specific legislation that provides stiffer penalties for people who are in a position of trust.”

“And then for our most serious crimes, if you are in a position of trust and you commit rape, then you should face the death penalty, in my opinion,” he continued.

“If you talk to people about how should we treat child molesters, how should we treat rapists, they would expect that the death penalty should be on the table for those crimes. And so that’s what I’m advocating for.

Oooooookay. He wants to bring back the death penalty. Most states moved past that years ago, though a few still have it. Does he want to bring back the hanging or firing squad, too? What rock did he crawl out from under because he needs to go back to it? He’s revolting, and having him in Congress is going to suck because he’s going to fit right in with the far-right caucus.

“So you’re saying that under, you know, just law, that somebody who behaved allegedly in the way that Eric Swalwell behaved, but, like, there are a dozen or more different people with varying arrays of allegations, a ton of them worked with Eric Swalwell,” Johnson observed.

“So you’re saying that that could, like, under just law, that should be the death penalty.” “And I haven’t looked at the allegations specifically,” Fuller admitted. “And I’d have to look at a victim statement to see if this would apply.

But yes, if you use force, if an individual uses force to rape somebody, which is an element of rape, my personal opinion, and this has been my personal opinion as a prosecutor, as a father, if a woman is raped, that person should face the death penalty.” “I’m so glad I asked the question, guys,” Johnson said.

Heh. If we want to discuss sarcasm again, that last line is it. But damn, people, what universe is this guy living in? Whether or not you support or don’t support the death penalty, Fuller is disturbing. He wants it, and he’s blatant about it. He wants it back. I almost have no words for how I feel about this guy. One thing is for sure: he sullies Georgia, and possibly even Congress, with his obscene views. This gives me the creeps.

See you soon!

Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that of all of the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula

  1. Fuller: “…how should we treat rapists, … the death penalty, that’s what I’m advocating for.”
Yes, rape is a despicable crime. Here’s how to do it: Set up a firing squad with Fuller and Swalwell in a room with Fuller’s constituents. Fuller pulls the trigger. After the act, study his face for smug satisfaction or remorse, assuming he doesn’t chicken out. Fuller is too Trumpy. Kill someone and take their money or their oil. WTF?!?

    • Or WT(Actual)F? It certainly is despicable. Child molesters are worse. They are kept from the general population because it’s dangerous for them, and well it should be!

      WTF, indeed 🙁

  2. The obvious question.

If adjudicated, properly convicted rapiists should get the death penalty, where/when does he suggest it happening with Mr Trump?
