What a farce of a country we live in. This female will not give up and will not accept blame and will not give a straight answer to any question. The people of the US have noticed her nonsense 110%. Well, okay, 100% since you can’t actually get to 110. But it sounds good! She’s about dug herself into a hole she can’t get out of. And I hope Lewandowski goes down with her. There’s no wonder why I call them the Terrible Two. She sucks at her job, but she’s proud of it! She’s going to hold onto that power however she can. All we need is one last stumble to take her down. A Democratic lawmaker on Wednesday said that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was not likely to keep her job in the Trump administration. Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) told MS NOW anchor Chris Jansing that concerns over Noem’s leadership have put her in a tough position among lawmakers.
Noem has been testifying before congressional leaders this week in Washington, D.C., where she has faced multiple calls to resign and heated confrontations with several leaders, including longtime Republicans, who expressed their frustration and disappointment with her leadership.
Yowza. She’s getting it bad, and that ain’t good. Confrontations are not a good way to gain support, quite the opposite. And when Republicans get in on it, oof, that’s a *really* bad sign. She’s “bleeding out” everywhere. It’s puzzling how she can be this stupid and not see the forest AND the tree. There are even hints that Trump is unhappy with her, although, ad nauseam, he can’t admit he was wrong and fire her. Just once, Trumpty, just once.
Lawmakers have been critical of Noem’s response to disasters and accused her of suppressing FEMA disaster relief funding. They have also called for justice following the death of two American citizens in Minneapolis at the hands of federal law enforcement officers, citing aggressive tactics and unlawful activities under her leadership.
“I think the most important thing, Chris, is that DHS is led by somebody with zero accountability, that ICE and CBP are running wild, killing U.S. citizens, detaining U.S. citizens,” Jayapal said. “Kristi Noem is a test of failed leadership. That’s what I said. That’s what I believe.”
Oooo doggy. Yes, this is a Democrat talking, but you can’t twist something around when it’s true. ICE/CBP *are* running wild. Krispi is happy for them to do so, because she can twist it around to “illegal immigrants” or “interfering with a federal officer” or, this gem, “they were in fear for their lives”. Huh? LOL wut? Neither of the killings in Minneapolis that we know about had *anything* to do with fear for their lives. The “officers” panicked. Someone had an itchy trigger finger. For NO DAMN REASON.
People in the U.S. feel misled by the Trump administration, Jayapal explained. “But I think what Americans are seeing is that… they thought that this was an administration that was going to go after the worst of the worst, and they happened to know and see the people that are being picked up in their neighborhoods, in their cities,” Jayapal added.
“They see the militarization of the streets by the federal government. They see children being detained and held in camps and separated from their families, and they don’t like it. And so, once again, people are being reminded that we are a nation of immigrants. We do value the immigrants who are in our country. We want a fix to the broken immigration system. Legislatively, we do not want the government to go after all of these people on civil immigration offenses, and we certainly don’t want our government militarizing our streets, killing U.S. citizens, and detaining U.S. citizens.”
Worst of the worst is not a child, or an elderly man in a blanket and pajama bottoms, or your next-door neighbor who loves to bake and share, or checks out your groceries in the supermarket, or works with farmers to harvest their crops. The worst of the worst is ICE/CBP. 3,000 people kicked out each day, as demanded by Satan’s child Stephen Miller, is impossible. If nothing else, there isn’t enough space anywhere to hold all of them! This is completely the opposite of what we were told. Perhaps we should have seen it coming. Well, there was no way to predict this. Immigration raids are one thing. Immigrants and US citizens being abused and shot and killed are something completely different. Can anyone stop this, stop her?
