Adam Kinzinger is free from the fetters of Congress and now he’s really rocking and rolling. You may recall how Donald Trump was very upset that Kinzinger took a job at CNN and he’s not going to like this any better.
Kinzinger is giving an insider’s viewpoint of Congress now, although so far all he’s really doing is ratifying what we already know about the deranged denizens of this particular congressional clown car.
He went on Charlie Sykes’ podcast and let ‘er rip.

McCarthy’s knee jerk defense is, of course, that the voters elected Santos. No, they did not. They elected a college graduate, finance whiz, Goldman Sachs guy who also knew the horrors of the Holocaust and 9/11 first hand, plus the privations of being gay in an anti-gay culture. Santos is none of that — well, possibly he’s some form of gay/bi, but we do know he was married for seven years to a woman.
McCarthy is stuck with Santos. He needs his vote.
I think it’s comical that McCarthy says Santos won’t get the plum committee assignments. Ahhh, really? We were hoping that he would chair the Intelligence Committee, at the very least. After all, Santos used to be James Bond’s boss at MI6, right?
Today’s headlines will be in tomorrow’s history books. This is not a boring era we live in, say what you will about it.
Don’t tell me GOPers are anti-vax. With all their corporate money and ties to greedy ass doctors they developed and anti-SHAME vaccine which as we see every day they all take. (And get regular boosters) McCarthy’s little statement is the latest proof of it.
Actually a lot of Grumpier are anti-vax,including one of my.more obnoxious in-laws. She was anti,-bad before Trump. Many evangelical Christians are anti-gay for reasons that elude me. Something about trusting their god and also hating scientists because it conflicts it’s with their narrow literal interpretation of the Bible.
Or maybe a death wish. If that4itI would prefer them to drink the,Jim Honest Cocktail and keep over in masse instead of infecting and killing others,,even if they are 13 more times likely to die if they end up hospitalized. The rest of hus,are happy living, thank you very much
