Y’all. Who gave this woman her position, and why didn’t they check to see if she had any sort of brain? She’s failing miserably in her press conferences and answering questions. You would think that tRump, the man WHO PAINTS HIS FACE ORANGE, would have someone better in the position who at least would have a decent chance at rebutting media questions. She’s recycling the same old tired lines, and doesn’t seem to know it. Or she won’t show that she knows it.

“I think it’s frankly ridiculous that anyone in this room would even suggest that President Trump is doing anything for his own benefit,” Leavitt argued. “He left a life of luxury and a life of running a very successful real estate empire for public service, not just once but twice.”

Leavitt went on to claim, with a straight face, that Trump “has actually lost money for being president of the United States.”

In response to a question about the meme coin controversy, Trump’s chief spokesperson added that the president “is abiding by all conflict of interest laws” and “has been incredibly transparent with his own personal financial obligations.”

Ha. Ha ha. Hahahahahahaha! Nope, no, and nonsense. Come on now, woman! Are you really that oblivious? (Apparently so.) I have some rebuttals from this article from MSNBC:

First, Trump didn’t leave “a life of luxury.” He lives in a presidential mansion, filled with a small army of people who call him “sir” and cater to his every whim, and spends most of his weekends at a glorified country club in Florida, where he’s surrounded by sycophantic supporters who pay handsomely to hang out at a playground for the rich.

Second, Trump oversaw a real estate empire, but to call it “very successful” is, to put it mildly, a real stretch.

Third, given the frequency with which Trump has tried to profit off the presidency, I’d love for Leavitt to elaborate on why she considers this line of inquiry to be “ridiculous.”

So, that saves me the time of saying the exact same things, but in my own words. Occasionally I like to be lazy. He has done quite the opposite of what she’s trotting out with those tired lines. I would actually think she *knows* she’s lying, assuming she has any tiny part of a brain. And how in the hell did she pass her classes to be working on front-facing PR? Also, I’m curious about something else. Who the hell is she really, and how did Agent Orange find her? Where did she come from? Plus, she’s not the level of attractive that other Trumpolini selections are. She has no idea how to dress. And I could rant about that for many paragraphs and have fun being mean, so instead I’ll stop here. Have some more from MSNBC:

Fourth, if the White House believes Trump has been “incredibly transparent” with his finances, I have a follow-up question about the tax returns he has fought to keep secret.

Fifth, Leavitt might want people to believe that Trump “is abiding by all conflict of interest laws,” but as she really ought to know, presidents aren’t bound by the most serious conflict of interest laws.

Sixth, the idea that Trump “has actually lost money” while serving as president appears to be at odds with reality.

But if Leavitt believes her talking points are going to end the corruption discussion, she’s likely to be disappointed.

El Presidente Imbécil does very well at corruption. He just tries to hide it, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. When it’s exposed, it blows up the media, and serves him damn right. This meme coin thing is one. Foreign companies bought the majority of them, so tRump is going to have dinner with a lot of *cough* interesting people. We’ll have very few US attendees, I think. And if that isn’t a grift, I don’t know what one is.

I found this article in slightly different phrasing across multiple websites, so it isn’t just one talking about it. Good grief, she’s a poor choice for a press secretary. She doesn’t do well with media questions. If it’s something prepared, she’s okay. But answering off-the-cuff questions? Not so much. Someone needs to give her a refresher course in public speaking. But she’s a good subject for an article, ha, so she does that right! This article is dedicated to Kathleen. All the best to her!!!!!! Thanks for sticking with me!

Zoomers, we are always in need of donations. It’s been an especially rough month, and my own health has not been great these past few weeks, which just adds to the frustration. Anything you can spare will be immensely appreciated. And thank you to all who have donated generously already. Ursula

  1. I think she’s tRump in a younger, prettier female package. Her IQ seems a lot like his, and she has no problem lying and recycling those lies. I am curious how he found her.

  2. He’s an evil narcissist, that’s spews lies everytime his lips or fingers move, abysmally empty of intellect, heart, compassion, sense of responsibility, or anything that can be considered good. She’s just like him. A match made in hell…er…I mean in heaven. Sure.

    • As usual, Scott, you have a succinct comment that perfectly fits the piece. They *are* a great deal alike. She tries to cover her lack of knowledge, he says I don’t know *rolls eyes*
