In fact, he thinks that Walter Conkrite should return from the dead and “choke the living shit out of” Dokoupil. Wow. Acosta doesn’t call Dokoupil a Twinkie but he lets loose with every other expletive known to that business or any other. Mediaite.
JIM ACOSTA: Just the other day, the anchor of the CBS Evening News ended his newscast by saying, we salute you, Marco Rubio.
I mean, not only was Walter Cronkite spinning in his grave, I was hoping he would come back from the great beyond to choke the living sh*t out of him!
JENNIFER WELCH: You see where CBS put out a statement, it was like, “We love America and we won’t apologize for it.”.
And I’m like, that’s not your job. Your job isn’t to feel emotion towards America. Your job is relentless pursuit of the truth.
JIM ACOSTA: Also, get the f*ck out of here! We all love America! That’s why we’re doing this.
And when I saw CBS doing that, I said, what the f*ck is going on with these people? Because we all love this country. That is beside the point.
What we should be having in this country is a free press that can hold the goddamn president of the United States accountable without everybody worried whether they’re going to lose their f*cking job! You can’t have a situation like that in this country.
And that is why things like what we’re doing right now is flourishing and thriving. Because the American people can sniff this out. They can see the pandering and the nonsense.
And the other night, the anchor on the CBS Evening News on January 6th is saying, “Well, on one hand, the White House is saying that the that Nancy Pelosi is responsible for January 6th, and on the other hand, it was the rioters.”.
No, motherf*cker, we saw it on goddamn television! It was a bunch of Trump thugs that he egged on and incited and sent to the goddamn Capitol! He’s the one who did it! There is no both sides to that f*cking story! End of f*cking story!
And there was a time in this business when the anchor of the CB– I worked under Dan Rather. In the early 2000s, I was here in New York working under Dan Rather.
And there was a time in this business where the anchor of the CBS Evening News–.
If he got a call from the White House where the president of CBS News got a call from White House complaining about the story, they would say, “Go f*ck yourself!” and hang up the phone.
Adam Parkomenko is going to have to take cussin’ lessons from Jim Acosta and that’s saying something if you know Parkomenko’s proud potty mouth. Dokoupil does not have the respect of his peers, to put it mildly. That’s a payoff in all professions. If the people who do what you do think that you do it well, that’s a bauble beyond price. Dokoupil may have a nice paycheck but the other paycheck, the respect of one’s peers, is something that can be conferred but it cannot be bought. Dokoupil appears to be impoverished in that area.
His wife Katy Tur sometimes has shown to have bigger balls than her milquetoast hubby. I’ve never been a fan of the network’s morning shows. Sure, sometimes actual hard news comes up but it’s mostly like 1% milk compared to whole milk. Watered down and not worth consuming. I think I’d seen a pic or two of him with HER over the years since they became a couple but until he got “failed forward’ into his current job I wouldn’t have been able to pick him out of a lineup. Just another early middle aged guy with about at much personality as elevator music.
However like Weiss he’s whored himself out. His job has been made clear – make Trump look good or since that’s not always possible DON’T let him look bad.
I wouldn’t quite say that Weiss “whored” herself out. She’s always been out there in the right-wing fringe. For someone to “whore” themselves out, they have to support a position that completely goes against their own moral and personal values for the SOLE purpose of monetary gain. This is a woman who went on “The View” saying “I believe that no one should be hung or have their reputation destroyed or lose their job because of a mistake or liking a bad tweet” yet she’s engaged in actions that did just that (or, at the very least, caused investigations against the people whose views SHE didn’t agree with).
Shills like Dokoupil are mediocre at best, failures at worst, and they know it; they know they’ll never be in the same league as the truly admirable figures within their chosen profession, so they take the fat paychecks at the compromised networks and kid themselves that they’ve made it. FUX News is full of them, so is the Trump regime.
