I am so sick of this jerk, and we’re barely into month 3! The egotistical arrogance of “he knows what’s right” makes him rank right up there with Traitor Tot, and I never thought it was possible. RFK Jr needs to be slapped. JD Vance needs to be punched to wipe that smirk off his face.
So, JD has changed his mind and is inviting himself to go to Greenland, along with Second Lady Usha Vance. That completely changes the tenor of the visit. She was going to cultural events. Now it’s with her husband and national security advisor Mike Waltz, Energy Secretary Chris Wright, and Republican Senator Mike Lee. Does that sound like a “friendly” visit to you? I thought not. So, to avoid any interactions with government officials or people of the nation (HA), they’re going to see the US Space Force outpost at Pituffik on the northwest coast of Greenland, 1000 miles from the capital of Nuuk. Now it *really* doesn’t sound like a friendly visit.
Seems there were already protests planned and actions to be taken if she had come to Nuuk or Sisimiut, where the dog race will be taking place. I’m sure this change in plans does not thrill her. Now she has to smile and look interested at a Space Force base. I’ll bet the dog sled race would have been a *lot* more fun. How does she like having a husband who’s a complete and total jerk? He didn’t used to be this bad. I’m pretty sure she’s not terribly interested in politics and would like to stay far away from them, especially with him being such a pompous ass.

The White House official pushed back on that assertion, telling CNN, “The itinerary changes had nothing to do with any potential protests.” *snort* yea, it did. Greenland does NOT like the US, and there’s just ONE of the multiple reasons!
Next, the change in plans also appeared to remove the possibility of an overt diplomatic spat between the US and Denmark, whose leaders said they hadn’t offered any official invitation to Usha Vance and pointed out the island is in the middle of a delicate political season as it tries to form its new administration. A new coalition is expected to be announced Friday. “There needs to be a space in which politicians can negotiate to form a government,” said Ulrik Pram Gad, senior researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies. “And if you, as a foreign power, impose yourself on that process, that is felt as aggression.”
One last one: “Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance are proud to visit the Pituffik Space Base in Greenland this Friday,” said Taylor Van Kirk, Vance’s press secretary. “As the Vice President has said, previous US leaders have neglected Arctic security, while Greenland’s Danish rulers have neglected their security obligations to the island. The security of Greenland is critical in ensuring the security of the rest of the world, and the Vice President looks forward to learning more about the island.” Bullsh*t bullsh*t bullsh*t!!!! He can say anything he wants, but Greenland does NOT want the US there any more than the Space Force base they already have. They are independent. And Denmark has their back. If Traitor Tot thinks he’s going to just waltz in and take charge of everything (including those minerals under miles of ice), he’d best think again. The changes would be horrifying! “Trump Tower Greenland”, ew! For one thing, Denmark is also a part of NATO. So, we would be fighting ourselves. Just as I would fight for Canada if I could, I would fight for Greenland, if I could. They are saying HELL NO. No means no, kiddies.

My sources are saying there are demonstrations and they have been confined to the base for their safety. Greenland may tell them to leave, and take their base with them.
Very soon it will be unsafe for trump or anyone in his administration to travel outside the country, except perhaps to Israel or Saudi Arabia. The entire lot are becoming persona non grata on the world stage.
And they should be confined! Greenland is losing any courtesy to the US government. How many times have they said HELL NO to the Mango Mandarin wanting to take over the country? They do NOT want to be part of the US, and I completely understand. I knew there were various protests planned. It’s embarrassing to be an American. Although I’d love to go there as a tourist because it would be fun. Seriously!
