My goodness, how the man can rant! Considering the source, it’s not surprising the naps are needed. Stay up all night, sleep all day. The more it happens, the crazier they get. Amazing. Why can’t this guy have something resembling life where he actually sleeps? Up all night posting these nasty screeds about this or that? Well, he wasn’t what we would call normal in the first place. Sleep deprivation is ugly. It seems he does the same thing with or without a decent night’s sleep. My compliments to Raw Story:
Donald Trump launched a sprawling early-morning attack on Republican critics of his Iran deal Sunday, singling out three GOP lawmakers by name and calling them losers, fools, and sleazebags in a 6 am Truth Social post that underscored the growing tension between the president and members of his own party.
Tension? All together now: gee, ya THINK? Trump has been doing stupid stuff. Before this, he ranted about Middle Eastern nations signing on to this peace treaty. Now, attacking people in his own party? If he hadn’t primaried two people (and counting) thus far, if he hadn’t rushed into attacking Iran, maybe they wouldn’t *be* so pissed off. And those lawmakers, the ones that won’t have seats after January, they can let loose because he knocked them out. It’s become no-holds-barred. We can hope they sock it to him.
Trump took aim at Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina, whom he declared would soon be “out of office.” He went after Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, who last week lost his primary to a Trump-backed challenger. And he saved his sharpest words for Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, whom he called “a major sleazebag who lost in a landslide” after Massie was defeated in his own primary following a series of breaks with the president.
We can all roll our eyes together. They are still in Congress. They can still hurt him. But these three aren’t the only ones who are angry. The entire party (we think) is pissed at Trump about the Iran war. They’re unhappy about the situation in America. The nonsense finally got to the point where they broke away. It took an illegal war to get them to open their eyes. Their constituents are beyond pissed to angry. Heh. That includes us.
“I laugh at all of the Dumocrats, RINOs, and Fools who know nothing about the potential deal I am making with Iran,” Trump wrote, before rattling off the names. Trump dismissed all of his critics as “weak and ineffective people” who “do nothing but create division and loss.” “These people should go home and rest,” he wrote. “In other words, they are losers.”
Excuse me? He still needs the Republican majorities in Congress to do things for him. They are pissed about the war, the slush fund for J6ers, and 1 billion for his ballroom. He’s going to get a lot of pushback. And he has to wait on something from Congress, who were (deliberately?) sent home early without passing anything. They may have thumbed their noses in the general direction of Trump before they left. We can only hope. It should be *very* interesting to see what comes out when they return. In the meantime, Trump will keep on with the random posting as usual.
